Blackdragon vinyl interior kit
I would say that the BD kit is equal to the MSA kit and of very poor fitting quality for someone wishing to do a near original restoration. Any idea where i can buy (online preferably) the diamond pattern vinyl by the foot/yard ? Any advices before i follow the same track you did ?

Help needed identifying front brake calipers
Ordered brake pads from Motorsport assuming that my 73 had the original brake calipers. Now being told by mechanic that brake pads are too small for calipers. No part numbers as far as I can see. They are Sumitomo. Left side has numbers on the outside that are all separated : 2 7 W. Right side has X 6 M and an 84 under that.

To Stripe or Not To Stripe?
I have to agree with Arne, stripes on black would be too much. Does not want to hijack you post but who sell these gorgeous chrome trim light cover ?

MSA discount?!
On my last order this is the answer i got from Jon at Motorsport concerning the CZCC club member discount : If a discount is applicable you will receive about 10% off of retail. Some items will only have a 5% discount, some will have 20% and some items will not have a discount available. It varies from item to item. When an item is on sale you will receive the lower price of either the sale or the discount. Hoping this will help clarify the subject.

Recent Just Dashes or Dashboard Restorations Experiences?
My 73 dash was restore by http://dashboardrestorations.com in November of last year. It took 2 months and was delivered at the end of February 2009. The quality of the job was EXCELLENT. Keep in mind that my dash had major crack in it. Dashboardrestorations.com required that the dash be shipped with all the gauges in order to do a proper fit. Price was 850$ excluding shipping cost (in and out).

New 240Z Door Panels 70-73
Best way to find out would be to call your US Nissan dealer and ask them bluntly to order H0901 N3300 and H0900 E4100. This is what i did in Quebec, Canada and even though the part guy was shock to ear a request for such an old part, he was even more suprise to read on is computer that the order could be put in and source directly to Nissan Japan. I do not see why this would not work in the USA since at the end almost everything comes from Nissan Japan. Also made me wonder how many of these old parts could still be available from Nissan Japan and wish i had access for a couple of days to a Nissan Canada/USA/World dealership computer in order to check them all!!!

New 240Z Door Panels 70-73
From the last conversation i had with my local canadian Nissan dealer, the best way to acquire a set of new NOS panel is to have the dealer order one and it will be automatically source directly to Nissan Japan. 6 to 8 weeks delivery lead time.

I'm in need of a shot
A few weeks ago i called PPG in order to get the grill & tail light panel paint formula published in the "How to restore your datsun Z-car" (California Bill's) book translated in a modern paint formula (Global). This is the formula they provided me. Hoping this help. Original formula from the book : Ditzler Duracryl DDL 2862 Argent with quite a bit of suede additive. 1 pint DDL 200 units DX265 300 units DX264 Thin 100-150% and spray fairly dry. Regulate air pressure to the high side Make sure you keep the paint mixed in the cup Don't expect any gloss as it shouldn't have any Global_Formula_Tail light trim pannel.pdf

New
Everything stock in the front and also wish to keep my fender as is. Tire size 225/50/16 or 225/45/16. Not looking for an exact answer but just trying to figure out which wheel/tire combo will give me the nicest low profile look and the most chance of clearance.

New
I know this subject have been cover here and everywhere else before (hybridz.org zcar.com), but i cannot find a satisfactory clear and definitive answer. What is the best fit in term of clearance on a 73 with Tokico struts and 1" lowered springs : 1) Rota RB-R 16x8, 4x114.3, Offset +4 2) Rota RB-R 16x8, 4x114.3, Offset +10 3) Any other Offset suggestion ?
