  1. This has happened at 50 MPH and when slowing down at a redlight. The tach goes crazy and then the car quits. If the car is moving, it restarts itself.... when I slow down for a redlight and it quits, I am able to restart the car and continue on. I have been told this means the Ignition Module is dying. Do ya'll agree? If so where can I get an Ignition Module for a 1977 280Z Coupe, base model. Thanks for any help Tommy 678-763-6939 jthill3@att.net

  4. Took a trip to town today and realized when I got home that the "280Z" emblem in the bottom passenger corner of the hatch back was gone. I an trying to sell my car so I need to get one of these quickly. Anyone have one or any suggestions on where I can get one? Tommy 679-763-6939
  5. Well, I think its been about 3 years and I finally got my car like I like it but several hearts attacks have slowed me down and it is time for me to get my car appraised so I can put it up for sale. Can anyone recommend an appraiser in the Atlanta area? Thanks Tommy 678-763-6939
  6. I should have said that one of the wiring harness connectors had burned out, meaning that the male/female had loosend over the years so that when current was run through there is sort of "arched" and eventaully burned up. Thanks for all the help guys.
  7. My switches were gone and then we found a melted wire using Steve's diagrams. Thanks guys!!!!!
  8. I've got the shop manual for my car that has a wiring diagram in it but was wondering if anyone knew of a better (easier to read) headlights wiring diagram for my '77 280z 5-speed.... I replaced my combo and dimmer switches (thanks Dave!) and it works great but there is a bug somewhere in the rest of the wiring on my car that causes the lights not to come on at times...... Thanks
  9. Hey Z Tyler - Mine ran at 11 MPG for the longest and we found that the Thermotine Switch had been wired backwards by the prev owner. It was corrected and I am up to 18 MPG now. Next for me, I will replace the Fulle Pressure Regualtor....
