  1. Hello, as I promissed earlier in the week This is what I found http://www.centralfloridazclub.com, and also http://www.suncoastzcarclub.com/index.php lets check them out and see what they got to offer around here in Florida
  2. Hey Thanks, Like I said in other threads my problem is lighting a fire up my mechanic/body guy's a...ss to get things going. It's not a $$ issue. I should be driving this a long time ago. I took the valve cover to a chrome guy in West Palm Beach, not far from downtown. It was a few years ago, I dont think i spent more than $100. I've seen some nice looking one on ebay for about the same price too, so that's an option. check out my thread in exhaust and let me know what you think, sometime next month or two I will go to exhaust shop.

Hello Larry, Welcome, You just got yourself a great catch for the right price especially for those who are not mechanically literate. You would have to spend about that much to have someone else do the job for you and it would probably take forever. I like it. I would'nt mind driving it Downtown Clematis Street/City Place, West Palm Beach on a Weekend basis.

  5. Hey Sblake01, I know that was a low blow but I luuv Tina.
  6. Same here my friend, I have been looking for one too. My dream is to make the Z West Coast National that they have every year in April, but that's just a dream. I am also looking for something in Orlando or Tampa. Tampa is our best bet. I think there a club there and they have races or meets at the Sebring Motorsport off of 98, I think that's the road or behind it. That will be my homework this week and will get back with you. I am Stuart, Martin County. I thought you were in St. Lucie county. Faye gave us a bunch of Tornados and very minor floods able to get out with SUV's.
  7. Hey welcome, Finally there is someone close to me I am probably a few exit south of you. I hope you did not have too much damage to your property. Hope we'll be spared this week Ike does not look to good. Hope he does'nt beat on us like he did Tina. Good luck on your restoration project. A lot of time and $$$$$. Since you're doing it yourself that's great unlike me i have to depend on someone.

This is why I posted this thread because I have been searching for about 2 months with no results. I think they will come out of hiding. This is a great club I've enjoyed it so far. I can't wait to start showing up the Z club meets.

Hey Ed, Thanks I kinda like that idea, unfortunately I have to split it, that's the look I am looking for and My body guy already cut the space in the bumper kit. I probably would of gone single if did not already have the bumper (fiberglass) cut out on the right rear side. 2 1/2 with resonator and muffler. I don't want it to loud where I can't enjoy a ride to Orlando or Key West. Fixitman, I also looked at your picture and like it a lot can this be split and still get a good sound.

Hey great short story about your car. How did you track it down? am sure you coverd that in a Thead that's another topic i"ll search for it. Thanks for the response. I have a guy here local you said he can do something custom for me. i just wanted to hear from 240z's with original L24. I don't see too many here. Most I've seen is L28 and big CAM. I will Modify at a later date but not right now, I just can't do it. I wanted to hear L24's and what set up they have. I dont't want to get into something that I will be regret.

Hello, Just to give you guys an update. Its been about 4 years. I finally heard the engine run last night. Original L24 with mikuni tripple. It sound beautiful . I have a 6 and 1 header. I am in the market for an exhaust system starting from the header tip, I will need something custom, bent pipe to come to the rear dual at left and right of the bumper. that is the look i am looking for. From what I've been reading if you're going to modify the L24 in the future, I should go with 2 1/2 pipe or more from header to the rear. I need some sweet sound and if later modified still get the sweet sound. If I take the car to a muffler shop what should I ask for. can anyone who has that set-up advise or any suggestion.:laugh::laugh:
  14. Thanks for the response. I am not that handy around cars, so therefore whatever you guys advise I will probably need clrification, just bear with me. What type of cam do you suggest. I want to improve the car and whatever i get i want to be able to use it in the future for whatever upgrades am doing on the car.
  15. I was reading one of the thread. It sound like running a tripple Mikuni in a original L24 not going to give you much speed or power. This is what i have now on this car. I already spent so much and I have not yet gotten my first drive. I need some power and speed. I also will be looking for a dual exhaust system that will sound great. Not those crappy hondas, acura and whatever those idiots are running in the streets around here in South Florida. My friend call me and said he found 280zx in the junkyard and it has a 5 speed trans. Should i get it and what else.
  16. Well, Hello Cunnwj funny that you ask, Lake Park is 10 minutes north of West Palm Beach/Palm Beach Where Donald Trump make a lot of $$$$$. Palm Beach County, Florida. Nice beaches, beautiful girls. I can't wait to drive Alternate A1A with the Z. Hey Guys, Thank a lot for your response Noe
  17. Thank you so much guys, I just got to keep my mechanic/Body guy motivated. He's the one in the first photo. he will be glad to see your encouraging replies. like I said I've come a long way with this car. Many guys would have given up. The big brakes are on. the second guy who had the car stole the porportioning valve that came with the brake kit, and many more items I had purchased. Anyway that is in the past. We got to move on. I think that I will need the porportioning valve. I have the Konig Imagine black 17x7 new, waiting to be on the car. I should of gotten size 8 rims, but we will see how these fit. I will need custom exhaust and A/C kit. please advise. Anyway, I like red but yellow is beautiful. Noe

Hello everyone, My name is Noe. I have been working and spending a lot of cash on this car for the past 4-5 years. I had it in a couple of guys shop and had to remove it, because I was spending monies with nothing being done. I now have it in a friend's shop and finally seeing some progress. Since then, we stripped it, sand blassted. The body kits are on and working on the bumper as we speak. I will be looking for some help. suggestions are welcome. I will attached photos to show how far we are with the car. I will be painting it Lamborghini Supperfly Yellow. I had purchased the big brake kit from the Arizona Guy.
