Hello 26th. The tool boxes in the chassis changed, as you know, and I'm not real sure how the tools fit in the later boxes. Yes I have the boxes in chassis with metal lid. Your screw driver is different from the set shown in the parts catalog also. Not surprising though. Does your screw driver have a part number? From my book the set of drivers should be 99530-E4100. Does the shaft detach from the handle? Now the E4100 usually designates the early parts for the series one 240 - and that number could be suspect. No the shaft is solid. It does not have normal and philips head if that is what you mean? And I cant find a parts number on it. It could be that the set came out of some other nissan car? I am sure that all those original tools that you've got there makes the job so much easier:)

So the basic set includes only jack, stoppers and wrench for tire bolts? Could it be that 260z has more tools in basic tool bag? Maybe they have added the screwdriver and some other stuff as standard? Is the jack similar/identical in 260z as it is in 240z? My car is 1974 260Z. nice set of tools you have got there 26th. those are service tools that the mechanics used to have at nissan dealers and workshops?

Mira is going to be burried in the gound she loved the most. Tomorrow I am going to take her 220 km away to our summer gottage. I sure hope to see my doggy when I pass away. It is funny how a animal can make such a difference in your life. My dad died on cancer when I was 11. It was not so big deal then and I did not cry for the loss. Today I did cry for my old "companion". That is weird.....Maybe it was because the creat responsibility and decision making. It is a hard situation. But it was the right decision......

Those litle suckers can be such lovable creatures. Mira was a perfect house dog. Every summer she went to our summer plase where she could hunt...And did she hunt? Bunnies, wild dogs and all. Every summer she lived a live that most huskies could only dream of. The worst part is ofcourse that I had to take her to vet to put on sleep:( I have had dogs before and it sure does not feel so bad when they just leave/run away. Our first dog which was born before me run away when he was 16!! And he really run away...Go figure? Well I did also have one of Miras puppies. We named him mocca. Mocca run away when he was just 1,5 yrs. And he newer came back. I guess that when they run away you can think that some one took my nice dog or atleast they passed away as a "dog hero" that run away... Or something. It is harder to see your hunter to get more and more disabled. But it is only fair to put stop to it in certain point....

I have to sadly announce that I had to make a hard decision to let my 13 yrs old car loving dog. Mira liked to drive around in all of my cars, but ofcourse she She was a great companion and gave comfort in my downhills. Mira was a Alaskan husky. Her mother was a N.Y. girl. So there is a strong connection to the states within my family dogs:). Happily she did have small puppies at age of 11 and my mother has one of those dogs. I love her and miss her http://www.mediarace.fi/unenvaltakunta/kuvia/mirukki.jpg

I like your idea. I think I would do the same for any z guy/girl in finland... Maybe not in the winter time though. I dont drive my z in salty winter roads..But I would certainly like to meet and show places. I could even accommodate couple of people in my house. So keep this in your mind if yoy are coming to finland some day:) I live in Joensuu which is situated in eastern finland. www.jns.fi is the adress to see... My wife allways laughs at me when i am so exited to maybe see some new people that I have just got to know via internet... But I think that what the heck we are here just for a one life time so why not to get know people that have similar spirit, hobbies. There is a good possibility to have some discussion:) Who knows how good a friend you could find? I was just wondering your distance from Paris because the spare time between the flights. 500 km is a bit too much:) When I come France for longer time I sure contact you and maybe we can find time to meet.. And keep in mind that my doors are always open for nice z people..

But i do have one 510, one 65 mustang and Ofcourse I could arrange couple more z's.... Anyways Caen. How near Paris is LaRochelle? I tried to loook from Viamichelin and got too many alternatives.... I am going to Boston and have one day to spend in Paris. We will be in paris on 6.1.2004 in the morning. And we have a day in Paris when we come back on 17.1.2004. Any chance you have time and live near? Just a wild idea?!? Maybe worth exploring? I have been making these tours to Germany to buy some cars and I am going to germany on next week too. Cars are too damn expensive here...Last time I brougt a -90 Gorrado g60...Still driving it and waiting for a decision about the tax... There is on fairlady z 2+2 here in finland that is some kind of rarity because it has been moved around and it is originally from Japan...here is pic of it
