Hello. My name is Mark. I live in Kingston NY & I recently acquired a 1981 Datsun 280zx. I saw the car for sale on a used car website and it seemed too good to be true. It had under 50,000 miles, original owner and not a spot of rust on it. My wife and I took the trip down to Williamsburg VA on a Friday afternoon. We stayed in a hotel Friday night and I hardly slept a wink. Saturday morning when we pulled into the seller's driveway and I saw the car sitting there I knew right then that I would be driving it home later that day. I have loved the 240z-280zx since I was very young and I have come close to purchasing a few over the years but nothing ever panned out. When I was around 10 years old I bought a book at the bookstore entitled, "Datsun 280zx". I read the book many times and studied the pictures in it for years. Somewhere along the line my Datsun 280zx book and I parted ways. When I sat down with the owner to go through the paperwork on the car that he had saved, he pulled out a copy of, "Datsun 280zx" that would go to the new owner of his Datsun 280zx.
