Who cares how fast the car is. I am not looking to race it or get alot of traffic tickets. I also , would be more interested if it did not have the modifications.You wonder why people can't leave a good thing alone.Kind of like the kids removing the badges from Hondas and adding big pipes.

I had a 72 Z which was sold by my x wife in about 1979. I no longer have the vin or any service records. any idea how I could locate the vin ? It was purchased from redwood City Datsun in 1972. I don't know if they are still there or if they would have any records.

I am 61 years old, bought a new 1972 Z in 72 kept it for a bout 5 years and am now thinking of buying one again. I probably want something in restored condition as I do not want to do anything to it when I get i but drive it on the week ends. Originally I had Lime green, I think 112#. If I see something that I am considering, I may ask your opinion. Hope thats ok. I never really like Orange but maybe would consider it now if the car was really good. It may be a few years before I can buy a car, but it is fun to look at them and get opinions.

For the time I owned the car, about 5 years. I am attracted to this car because it is the same color as the one I had then. I can't afford it now, but I will some day soon.I would buy this, if I could and I would drive it.But I would install after market air, as the seller suggests. I also had a 1970 510 and it had air and it worked great. In High School I had a 1962 T Bird and it also had air.A/C has been around long before 1970.

If I am going to pay that kind of money I want the A/C there or I wouldn't be interested. Why should I have to deal with it later? Who wants a car today without A/C? I find this ridiculous.

I see a Lime Green car today with the following notation."Datsun Nissan 240Z Z ZX SS factory AC Nismo Hot Rod 350" What does this mean? I have never seen this before.

Not only do I not like the look but they are very unpractical. I would be hitting curbs and destroying it in a few weeks. Does anyone think that front spoiler really adds anything to the car?

I have been meaning to ask about this. My 72 Z was ok until I had Koni Shocks put on it. then it road so rough I had to get rid of it. If I buy another one, I do not want a stiff ride. can anyone tell me what kind of suspension/shocks I have should be looking for? IS an adjustable shock maybe the answer? Thanks

I had one that Color I bought new in 1972. Don't have one now but some day I am going to buy one and it will be Lime Green!

I had a 72 Z 36 years ago with air that worked great. I am considering buying one now but all the cars for sale do not seem to have Air. What happened? Was the system bad and thus removed?None of the cars on ebay now have air or if they do it is not working. Also I had Lime Green. Is that a hard color to find? i have not seen many.
