Hmmm...guess I have some learning to do...no frame. But there is some rust (and a bunch of black widows) underneath the car that will need to be taken cars of. Lots of good info on this site and HybridZ. Looking forward to tearing into the car. Downloaded and printed the manual today (thank you) then went out and began stripping the interior.

Unfortunately this is going to be a work in progress for a while. I plan to pull the body off to coat the frame (has some rust), then have the body prepped and painted while its off. Need to make room in the garage first... Took these today...his parents still have the original wheels in their garage, which I'll pick up in the near future. Someone sprayed white paint over some growing cracks, I assume to prevent rust. The interior was done about a year prior to the car being parked, and still looks good. Fortunately I found the original steering wheel. When he first got the car it had a 3 carb set-up, he could never keep it running right so it was swapped out for these. Any thoughts on going back to 3 (IIRC the car ran a lot stronger) or fuel injection?

Just picked up an old friend's 240z. He was the second owner, got it back in 84 when we were in high school. We both have fond memories of driving that car so I couldn't see it going anywhere but to me when he finally decided it needed some attention. It's been sitting for the past 15 years covered in a shed so I have some work ahead of me.
