hello, I just got a 280z for three hundred bucks, not running some rust through on the rear quarter panels, rockers and front fenders (no rust on the floor and rusty hatch. wiring is an absolute mess, brake lines need flushing and maybe a master cylinder rebuild. anyhow the previous owner said there was a short to the fuel pump, located the fuel pump test the wires and they were fine, pulled the pump tested it and it was dead. installed new fuel pump and bingo! started right up! sounded pretty good for not running for over a year.
