  1. Hello. Any news on this project ? Regards jorge
  2. Hi. Nice to see that in the other side of the world it's another 1970's Skyline alive and kikking ! 36500 Km's ? Very low millage too ! My car has only about 8.500km's...It's almost a miracle, but it's true, because it was a Nissan show car that was placed at rest for almost 20 years, and was placed in a small island...So, it couldn't go very far, unless it could swim  Please post some photos of your car as soon as possible :bulb: ! Parts for these cars are almost impossible to get...I had many troubles just to find the original side badges ( Skyline GT ), and when I travel with the car I almost have nightmares if some idiot crashes the car at my rear, because the tail lights must be very hard to get again..... I now need a new exaust, since the one I have it's still the original part, but it will have to be hand-made, since there are no exausts available for this car anymore....I will make it in stainless steel this time. If you want to chat please add my Hotmail email to your msn : vwcarocha1959@hotmail.com Cheers Jorge
  3. WOW ! Very interesting info ! Any photos of that time at Okinawa available ? Please post photos of you Skyline, It's nice to see that they are beggining to appear all over the world. Rgds Jorge
  4. Hello. Last 19 to 21th of March 2010 went down in Lisbon, Portugal, another edition of the Vintage Classic Car Motorshow. My Club here in Portugal dedicated to the Classic Japanese Cars, sent me an invitation to exibt my Nissan Skyline 2400GT in the room, and the car was there for all the exibition, side by side with another great vintage sedan from a friend of mine, a Classic Toyota Crown Super Deluxe, that is in top condition. Here's some photos of the event, hope you like them. Regards Jorge
  5. WOW ! I've just saw this tread after some months, and another 2400Gt is alive, altough this one needs quite a lot of TLC..... If you need any info from me, like pictures of the all car, inside and outside, just let me know. I will help as much as i can, so that you can manage to rebuilt the car. In the mean while, if you quit I will be happy to buy the car as spares for my car, just let me know. Kind Regards Jorge

  10. Hello. Many Thanks for the image my Friend :knockedou If possible, please send a picture of the nissan letters too. I've bought for my car the Japonese Domestic Market badges, since the European one ( the ones you have ) are almost impossible to find anywere.... Here they are, this is the only guy in the world I know that still has this kind of badges to sell, they are real Nissan Originals and come on the Nissan original box : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Datsun-Skyline-C110-C210-C10-GT-GL-GTR-GT-R-Emblem-NEW_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1742Q2em153Q2el1262QQcategoryZ33643QQihZ020QQitemZ300257868791QQtcZphoto For all the users in this forum, here's a PDF from a 1972 Sales Brochure I've just bought on EBay, that shows the complete Datsun European Range of veicules, including the 2400GT Regards from Portugal Jorge Datsun Range 1972 - Europe 1.pdf Datsun Range 1972 - Europe 2.pdf Datsun Range 1972 - Europe 3.pdf Datsun Range 1972 - Europe 4.pdf Datsun Range 1972 - Europe 5.pdf
  11. Hello. Could You take a picture of the simbols and place it here ? I have an ideia of them, but never saw them, because mine were stolen before I bought the car..... Regards Jorge
  12. Hello. Nice car, looks lowered. I see that someone has stolen the Nissan GT door simbols on your car, like some asshole stole mine ( Hapenned with the previous owner ). i've bought another ones from a guy in EBay, but they are the JDM ones, and say Skyline GT instead of Nissan GT like the European LHD model... Nevertheless I will use these, better with these than without the door simbols... The guy has always many parts for the old Skylines and Datsun's, heres a link for his auctions if someone here needs something : http://stores.ebay.com/ukstar76 Regards Jorge
  13. Hello. Thanks, I will send you a email soon with pictures and the all story, so that you can put it on your website. Right now I'am on a business trip, so I didn't find time to post here the pictures of the car service manual. I'am writting this from a local Cyber-Café, but I will be at home in 2 days from now. Regards Jorge
