  1. Thanks everyone for your input. Good news is I checked and my radiator is a 3 row. I'm taking it to be cleaned and pressure tested and will use it. Kevin
  2. Wanted to get some input. Doing a total modified rebuild on a 1971 240Z. Engine is basically stock. I could clean, paint and reinstall the original radiator which is in good shape. Or should I replace it with a new aluminum radiator? Will it make a difference going with a 2 or 3 row radiator? There are many around $130-$150 on Ebay. Is there a difference in quality or are they all basically the same. I appreciate your thoughts and suggestions. Kevin
  3. I felt confident about the rebuild. I had a good blow up diagram. The mechanics are pretty straight forward. I was just thinking that with all new grease it might take some stronger force than I can generate to get everything moving and broken in.
  4. Doing a ground up rebuild. My half shafts looked good and operated smoothly, but decided to rebuild them since they are 43 years old. Now that they are cleaned, with new grease they won't slide at all. Is this a concern, or will they break in once back on the car? Thanks for your help, Kevin.
  5. Hi Blue. I appreciate the diagram. Outer wheel bearing, item #20, shows as 40215-A0100. My bearing number is 40215-P0100?
  6. Picked up some original Nissan bearings and trying to confirm they are correct for a 1971 240Z. Front wheel outer bearing 40215-P0100 Front wheel inner bearing 40210-A0100 Front wheel seals 40232-A0101 Thanks for your help, Kevin
  7. Do you know of any supplier for a smooth finished windshield rubber gasket? I'm trying to get rid of the chrome strip without having an empty channel. Thanks, Kevin

This is kicking my butt, and I don't want to break anything. What is the best way to remove the gas fller hose on a 1971 240Z? I have disconnected the gas tank, vent hose, and removed the 3 screws on top and bottom. Thanks, Kevin
