Thanks! Yeah, I suppose paint does make a bit of a difference... I'm not taking it back to stock, 260z's really aren't a good choice for that type of restoration (IMO). If nothing else, the carbs weren't so great, and there was just a ton of smog stuff. The car has a 280 engine, and 240 SU carbs. So, it's probably never going to see a true "stock" restoration. Today, I decided to go through the engine compartment and make it "nice", so it will stay in the shop for a couple thousand dollars longer.
