Fuel line engine compartment run
Hey Guys, When I got my 78 280, as is common the battery was left in and rotted everything below including the fuel lines. I got a new set of steel lines but can seem to figure out how the run from the turn up to engine compartment to the front get secured to the frame. Anyone have a pic?

front suspension rebuild
would the non-stock eliminate the problem with the size difference in the bushing seat? I guess what im asking is if the non stock compression-tention rod assembly would be compatible to the hole size as it is now.

front suspension rebuild
YEP THATS IT. THANKS VERY MUCH. Is it there to size the hole? If so, what size should it be?

front suspension rebuild
WOW. I was hoping someone knew what i was talking about. They looked like washers and i think they reduced the size of the hole. Three tack welds held them on. they were 1/16" max Hope that helps.

front suspension rebuild
Hey Guys, After a couple years i have finally gotten my 78 280z frame and body complete and am ready for reassembly. I needed to have both frame rails replaced and during the process the 2 mounts or should i say bushing holes in the front of the rails were destroyed. (Sorry, not great description) Anyway I noticed before the media blasting which removed the rusted part that the were spot welded. How do I replace these rings

mustache bushing
I bought a urethane bushing set for my 78 280z. I had the old bushings pressed out at a shop. while installing, I found the mustache bar (differential carrier) bushings way large, maybe 1/4" play up and down, inside also. I spoke to the manufacturer, Prothane, only to be told the part # was correct. The other bushings appear to fit at this time. the box is labeled for my car.The fsm calls these bushings insulators. Is there a sleeve or something that may have been removed with the old bushing??

need heat
My problem in the vac lines for heat were disconnected in the engine compartment when I got the car. I tried to follow the diagrams but am not been able to follow them. I have tried a few different configurations I thought looked right but nothing. There were no lines to the senders so I am basically winging it Any other suggestions. Anyone have pics??

need heat
78 280z My lines through the wall and in and out of the heater core are hot. Fan blows cold and only from the center vent. flaps close when it is on def. but never a change in the flow from the center. The car has factory air but p.o. doesnt have a belt on compressor so I guess that went some time ago. Where do I start??

Losing it!!
Well, I guess I might as well come out with it:embarrass: the Freaking wire harness plug was loose under the Air flow meter. Running smoooooth.
