  1. just verified coming from right rear wheel area and yes all replaced
  2. gm at one time used bars leak or something like it to help seal coolant from factory.. i have used before with no problems.. used in my 2004 jag because i could not find were coolant was leaking... no leak since... jag only has 30000 miles i would not use in old partially clogged radiator.. just my 2 cents

Hope u huys can help me again.. i have a squeaking noise in right rear under accelaration... sounds likebirds chirping..can be at 20 mpg or 70 mph... as long arse i have throttle on.. i replaced u joints about 3 years ago... 15000 miles.. could this be it again.. they feel tight... would like any suggestion before i replace again.. i replaced last time due to vibration... thanks to any one who can help?

    I orderd a fusible link for my ignition. The original color is red the one i recieved is light brown. Is this the same as the red or am i going color blind in my old age? The thickness in the light brown is much smaller than the red. Hoping someone can give me advice before i install..thanks again. 1978 280z

    65 PSI 30GPH ... this is the specs. i have recieved fuel pump. it feels heavy well and seems well built. i hope the 65 psi is ok... any thoughts. should i just try to clean mine and just keep this one for spare.

    need help once again. i poured lucas fuel injection cleaner into my tank and i think it took out my fuel pump. no fuel pressure unless i tap the fuel pump with a rubber hammer. i have orderd a fuel pump made by delco or delphi? any suggestions with this pump and did fuel cleaner take out my fuel pump?
  13. one more thing all guages went crazy. some went all the way over and some down. ????????????. i see what you guys meen how could it ground somewhere else othe than the battery bracket.
  14. i really dont know how it took path. all i know is when the car shorted out I did pull the ground and positive quickly to prevent fire. did leave burn mark on my hands. i do have my stereo hooked directly to battery for memory and it blew an inline fuse there as well.
  15. one fusible link did fry. one of the green as zed spoke of.
  16. thanks guys. problem solved !!!!. fusible links did burn. they saved me whew. you guys are the spocks of z cars. this is a great site. i did find the problem with battery bracket. the bolt on the firewall is missing just as euro dat said. will order new links and battery insulator.

  19. if the links are the problem, where do i purchase them or can i use inline fuses and what amperage?
  20. thanks zkars. it has the original bracket. but somehow nut was loose and top frame of the battery is what got into the positive post.

  23. I pulled into burger king and saw smoke coming from battery area. I raised the hood and noticed the positive side of battery was grounded out on battery holder. I moved the battery enough to stop the ground and short. Now the car will not start. it will turn over and i have fire to the plugs. i do not hear the fuel pump running now. is there any other fusible links other than the 2 cap coverd one on the right fender. i have checked those and they seem to be ok. please help me:cry: scott
