play in rear wheels from top to bottom.found this on alighment. tech said i need new wheel bearings. should there be any play or is this normal. thanks. wanted to know before i let tech repair.

I purchased a motorhome and just wanted to know for sure in can flat tow my z. :paranoid: if so any fluids in driveline suggested. trans and diff. please help. I do not want to destroy a z over trying without knowing.

I have these bwa wheels and going to post in classifieds.. my question is how do i measure width of wheel? i measured from outside to outside and came up with 7in. is this correct way?

they are p4 205/60/15

no rubbing issues..very close to front valance.. could not have went with 215/60/15.. 205/60/15 is as close to diamerter as stock as i could find.

Just had my rota rb's installed..yahoo!!! 15x7 with 205/60/15 pirelli tires.. Do yall think i made a good choice?

i am wanting to replace both of my headlights with halogen..is this ok for a 78 280z? i just wanted to know if there where any wiring issues.. z currently has sealed beams.. thanks for any help..

I am looking to purchase 15x7 rota royal silver wheels for my 78 280..just wanting to know if anyone had any issues with center caps or clearence issues. Wanting to use 195/65/15 toyo tires.. Suspension is stock.. Any suggestions on offset... Thanks for any help..

I just had the rotors resurfaced for brake vibration..still have brake vibration..any suggestions?just wandering if i need new rotors. thanks for any help....

thanks blake..they are just on a shelf at oreilly's..10.99 each i think..just did not know if halogen would draw to much amperage..

installed mine today...used bump stop on my 78 280.removed 1/4 off of stop. little different to a 240z..my z does feel more solid between shifts..the only thing i did notice,(maybe just me) a little nvh??? ps i am curious would this have to removed to replace muctache bar bushing..seems to have put more tension on eveything..

i am installing my rt mount tommorrow..i was wondering if anyone has installed an rt mount in a 280z? i was wondering if i had to remove the driveshaft...instructions how to install would be great..:) ps ..using bump stop..

I believe i have a heater core leaking or maybe some type of shut off valve... i do have a/c.. my question is this,,,,, can i shut off the water to the inside of the car without damaging anything?:stupid: i would like to wait a while til i can diganose the problem... the only thing i have noticed is that the temp lever has no effect,,, blows hot air anytime the fan is on even with temp lever selected to cool...this just started... please help,,, thanks again..:classic:

i'm 41...currently own a 78 black pearl 280z.....my first was a 74 260z at age 18 2nd was a 71 240z that my ex wife took during our divorce..b....h!!:mad:......3rd was 83 280zx..probably the best z i ever owned.....

i replaced mine last june with poly...i burned the old rubber out..simple to replace.. just be ready for alot of gear whine noise.. i am going back to rubber this month.. just a note i did notice better handling with poly..

70 something chevy monza...no power and had to repair weekly...then a dodge charger...440 magnum..plenty of power good engine everything else just fell apart..
