Our SCCA club has no club racing in our area so I'm not sure of what class we'd run in with our 1972 240Z . It has a rollcage, 5 point harness, fire system, posi rear end and stock original engine with triple carbs. Right now my wife does autocross and PDX (3.1 mile course) and seems to enjoy her Z much more than her 08 Honda S2000CR. Thanks

What kind of wheels do you guys run on your Z? I have a 1972 240Z with stock 14' mag wheels, it has toyo R888 tires size 225- 50- 14. I'm told It's a road race car that was raced at Thunderhill. My fenders are flared and I'd like to go with a wider tire in the rear. Any suggestions on wheel brand, size etc?

Hi folks, I just bought my wife a 1972 240Z on ebay. We'll be racing it at the Spring Mountain Raceway in Pahrump,NV. We will also be autocrossing it with the Las Vegas SCCA club. The car was used as a student trainer at the Thunderhill Racetrack in Ca. it already has the fuel tank, rollcage, fire systen etc. I do have a question for you other SCCA guys, what class will I be in? I'm thinking SM2 but I'm not sure. Oh by the way my wife Sue is the driver, I'm the pit crew guy!
