  1. I have converted to the Civic wiper motor and somewhere I found the link to somebodies wiring diagram using a relay that made it so all functions of the motor worked (off, interminent, low and high plus washers). They would work but only once in awhile. I thought I finally found my problem and was putting it back together when now all I have is the washers and high. I can hear the factory relay (the one that the interminent and low runs through) cycling (clicking about every 8-10 sec). I can't get it to do anything else. I think the factory relay has given up the ghost. Is there someone out there that has an additional wiring diagram that by-passes the factory relay?
  2. The Civic motor is actually a 92-whatever the next body change was. When they say a 91 it has to have been a Civic built in late 91 which actually makes it a 92 model. I used a 95 Acura Integra motor and it just like the Civic. With Zs-ondabrain's wiring setup for the relay you will have everything (intermitent, slow, fast and park) It's great.
  3. I don't know what it was designed for but it doesn't need to be hooked up. My harness had it on the firewall side but the harness going to the motor did not.
  4. A wiper motor from a 1995 Acura Integra works also. With your wiring diagram everything worked on it and the drive shaft was notched to fit right on the Z swing arm. I found that the 97 accord motor works perfectly with your wiring, you just have to notch the drive shaft. Thanks for your help.
  5. I know its been 5 months since you last addressed this problem but I have a question. I used a 97 Accord wiper motor. They look near identical to the 91 civic but when I did the wiring using your relay I only have high speed and park. I did one modification to the wiring and I have both high and low speed but it doesn't park. The 97 motor has the identical 5 wires and same color code. What do you think I need to do? With it wired the way I have it even though I have 2 speeds the high speed has a small pulsation in it. The 2 speeds are nice but having it park would be great.
