240z Seats: Gap Between Top & Bottom
Do you mean there were foam wedges that came out from the old cushion? Or were there foam wedges that came with the new cushion? There were no foam wedges that came with the cushions I bought from Mortorsport. Oh well, I guess I can deal with the gap.

Help! Passenger door on my 240z won't close.
The screws were tight; I loosened them to fix it. The other 2 holes are for the dove tails, which are missing.

240z Seats: Gap Between Top & Bottom
Your seats look amazing. I wish I would have bought that upholstery instead of the motorsport stuff. Your upholstery is more original looking. Where did you buy those covers and cushions at? I don't know what/who Les is.

Help! Passenger door on my 240z won't close.
Yeah, but that didn't do anything. I somehow managed to pop it back in place and the door closes fine now. I have no idea what the hell happened and I hope it doesn't happen again.

Help! Passenger door on my 240z won't close.
I was lubing the latch and the hinges on my 240z and, somehow, the latch on the passenger door spun around and the door will not close. The rubber piece is supposed to be facing towards the ground and the silver hump is supposed to be horizontal. Instead, the rubber piece is horizontal and the silver hump is facing upwards. Does anyone know how I can turn it back?

240z Seats: Gap Between Top & Bottom
The gap on my newly reupholstered seat is quite a bit larger than yours, but I guess it's normal because the new cushion is probably more compressed at the back then the original one was.

240z Seats: Gap Between Top & Bottom
I just finished putting the reupholstered driver's seat out of my 240z back together. The seat has all new cushions and all new vinyl upholstery from motorsport. After putting the seat back together, I noticed that there is a large gap between the back of the seat and the bottom of the seat. Before the seat was rebuilt, there was almost no gap between the two parts of the seat. Has anyone else noticed this after they rebuilt their 240z seats?

240z Seat Strapping
Is the seat strapping(straps that support the bottom cushion) on 240z seats supposed to be really tight? or is it supposed to have some play in it? I just had the driver's seat in my 240z reupholstered and the original strapping was completely intact, so I just added the strap that goes horizontally beneath the diagonal strapping. The original black strapping is a little bit loose and I'm wondering if I should have tightened it.

WTB: 240z Valve Cover
I forgot to mention that I'm looking for a completely original valve cover, not a painted one.

Does anyone have a 240z Valve Cover in excellent condition? Please message me if you do.

240z Valve Cover
Where can I find a new or close to new valve cover for a 240z? I've been looking all over for one and the only ones I can find are powder coated.

240z Tail Lights
Does anyone know where I can buy new or restored tail light lenses for a 240z? I can't find them anywhere on the web.

Dove Tails(Door components)
I was going to buy some on ebay or from motorsport. They're $25 a piece. Would they be any cheaper if I got them from the Nissan dealership?

Uneven Rear Hatch on '71
No, there is no right hatch strut. The 240z's only had one hatch strut on the left side. I think they started using 2 hatch struts on the 260z's. Is there any way I can adjust the hinges to make the hatch sit flat when it's closed?

Uneven Rear Hatch on '71
The left side of the rear hatch on my '71 240z doesn't sit flush with the body when it's closed. I'm assuming this is a common issue with the 240's because of the single hydraulic on the left side of the hatch. Is there any way to make the hatch sit perfectly even again?

Dove Tails(Door components)
I noticed that the dove tails that go below the latches on both doors are missing on the 240z that I recently bought. Here's a picture of the specific part I'm talking about. Would the doors close easier if I installed new dove tails? I noticed that the doors on the car are harder to close than previous z's I've owned.
