  1. Thanks again Everyone for the props!
  2. Thanks you beat me to it....appreciate the assist! This has been a long, time consuming project. As I thought from the beginning, if I got a fairly straight, stock, rust free started, well that'd be half the battle. Did all of the usual necessary for a car that's sat for awhile, and encountered more than enough of "Wy?" from my wife...of course she loves it...NOW! As to the contrast of the white/green...first off, I just like it. Additionally, I just wanted my Z to look different from the others I've seen on the streets...never was a lemming in how I see things. The next hurdles: Replace the struts, shocks etc. and fix the exhaust leak coming from the exhaust manifold. But for right now...to quote our friends at Mazda...Zoom, Zoom! Thanks for the kudos guys!

....from the Green Z I found parked underneath a Douglas Fir tree over a year and a half ago....what a great project this has been. 1975 280Z retaining original Emerald Green color. I think the white highlights look pretty good on her. Summertime Cruizin!

Hey GREEN...just like mine! Great color, and you don't see a ton of them around. How's the interior? My '75 is a California car, w/ no kidding, black interior w/ white seats. Enjoy!

Hi, I posted a thread here a few days back about my fuel pump issue(s). It's apparently been viewed 28 times w/ no response. I'm curious, did I break some type of etiquette rule for the forum or something? I'm a mechanical newbie, and have tried searching through the threads looking for an answer before I'd asked the question. My car is a 1975 280Z, and I'm a first time Z Owner that joined this site back in January. Truly, if there's not an answer hear, I apologize for asking an inanely stupid question. PS-I'm not in anyway associated w/ any other ZSaints that have frequented this site in the past.
  8. Okay, I've got a 1975 280z....hadn't been driven in several years. Ran like dog crap...replaced fuel pump, filters, wires,plugs....wouldn't turn over. Finally got it going by having friend hold AFM flap open....ran really well. Tried driving it around and eventually couldn't get it to restart. Still can hear the pump engaging when opening the AFM flap....just won't turn-over. Any thoughts on this? Thanks much! Saint
  9. I'm also on zcar...I think the other ZSaint you mention is different....maybe w/o the 1957 tag on the end.
  10. Hey All, Just picked up a 1975 280Z Green, black interior, 84K original miles, w/ only one small quarter sized rust spot which isn't deep. Traded my cancer laden 1964 Chevy stepside for it straight up. Guy I traded with bought the car from the original California owner back in 2004, and only put 100 miles on it. A good friend of mine that has a couple of these, and has restored several, gave it a good going over, and is going to go from stem to stern on it to tweak up to speed. He commented on the rare color, the white stock seats, and the unusual bumpers...it was built in 5/1974, so does that make it a 1974 1/2? I think the only three things on it not stock are the radio, wheels, and outside mirrors. Paint is heavily oxidized as it was parked under a tree for 5 years and I don't think claying is going to redeem it...will probably repaint same stock color) Really looking forward to this project! Saint
