Trying to place an order at Black Dragon
( i didnt bump it but here's a solution) I JUST ordered from them yesterday. The exact same thing he's talking about happened to me a few days ago... I got about a dozen items into my shopping cart and hit the "next page" button on their online catalog and it sent me to one of their sister sites, I think the rx7 site, I forget. When I hit the back button, yay shopping cart empty. What I did, and it couldn't have been easier: Download the entire catalog in PDF here (19mb, right click, save as) then click "Place your order" and enter the part numbers directly into the shopping cart. Of course you could wait for them to send you a catalog, but their "1-2 weeks" has now been 6, and I've requested it twice, still don got.

The Solution for NLA Parts!
Oh for sure, I know that, obviously. Where I was going with my comment was that for a "Solution to NLA Parts" ... and the examples that Jay was frothing at the mouth about, the printer isn't as useful as the scanner. If you're making prototypes or test fitting one-offs, then the printer would be invaluable. Gotta love this one, too.... http://www.engadget.com/2007/05/10/diy-3d-printer-utilizes-hot-air-sugar-to-craft-random-objects/

The Solution for NLA Parts!
The scanner is cool! ... allows you to work with a cnc machine much easier. The printer might be more to impress people with vast amounts of money and the willingness to spend tens of thousands of dollars on a single part (read: Jay Leno).

Hi All
New guy to forum, but Z's have been in my blood as long as I've driven. About 20 years ago, my first was a '72, orange on black, I was 2nd owner. A "friend" decided he'd "borrow" it, and ended up perpendicular to a curb at 50mph. Second, about 12 years ago, I was at the right place at the right time to get a "deal" from someone who needed to offload a '72, orange on black. I figured it wasn't bad considering the (unfortunate, non-stock) upgrades he had on it. Thing ended up being a basket case, rusted, cut springs on top of bad struts, manifold leaks, overheating, do not pass go, etc. Not something I had the time, patience, money, or space to deal with at that time. I currently have more time, patience, money and space. Third and current, have had a couple months from eBay. '71, orange on black, and as far as I can see, appears to be all stock and complete except for a few cosmetic areas, easily fixed (seats, mirrors, glove box, clock, etc). I've already gained a lot of knowledge from lurking these forums in silence and just wanna say thanks.
