Thanks for the info. Did you start with any of the pre-loaded maps in the software? Or did you create your own map? Also, did you fine tune on a chassis dyno? Or just drive and experiment? Thanks again!

Dude. There really haven't been any major issues. But I'm just not sure if my timing is maxing out my triples' performance. I'm looking for the best way to get the best timing up to the 7000 redline for my track days. I'm not much of a mechanic. (Who am I kidding? I have no damn idea what I'm doing.) The install and set-up would be done by my friends at RS Speed Design in Glendale. So all things being equal, if my carbs are in perfect running order, is the 123 an effective tool to get the most out of my carbs? Is it second best to the Megajolt which is a better value? Or are both overkill and overpriced for the performance they return compared to stay a stock 280ZX distributor? Thanks.

Actually, I did. But the Apple App Store says the app hasn't received enough ratings or reviews to display a summary. THANK G*D FOR BILL GATES!

Funny! Check your Android phone. That's 1987 calling. Wants his joke back.

It's easily adapted to an L24? You have one in your Z? The advantage to the 123 is that it comes complete with software, drive dog, cap, etc. so it's total plug and play for my L24. No more ancient Datsun distributor. Not to mention I haven't owned a Windows based computer since 1993. I can tune the 123 via my iPhone.

Just wondering if anyone's using the new 123igntion distributor on an L24 that you can tune via Blue Tooth? I'm running triple Weber 40s with an E88 head in my 240Z for street and track events. Timing's always been a bit of an issue. Seems like this would be a game-changer if it actually works as well as I think it could. Thanks for your input.

Is the E31 head still available?

So cool of you, Mike. Just sent you a PM. Thanks!

Good to know I can get other people their parts by posting my needs then losing out. How about posting a pic anyway? Thanks.

Wow. I got back to you less than 2 hours after you posted. Did you sell to Woodrow3?

Yes. Interested. Please send me pics. Sandy.isaac@gmail.com. Thanks.
  12. Both powered by L24 engines with triple Weber 40s. At the Nissan Challenge event yesterday. Taught some more modern Nissans a lesson. Come out and join us in 2018. We need more early Z cars!

I know this thread is 12 years old but just in case anyone's interested in selling a set of these old mats, I'm looking to buy. Thank you.

Looking for a pair of AMCO or other similar brand black rubber floor mats for my 1970 240Z. Reach me here or at sandy.isaac@gmail.com. Thanks.
  15. Never mind. I got a response from him. Thanks anyway.
  16. I know this is an ancient thread but does anyone have the Z connection direct email? I need to return an item and the seller hasn't responded to my Ebay message sent yet. Instead of listing a contact # or email on his receipt, he asks for a 5-star Ebay score instead. Thanks.
  17. If I'm stranded on the side of the road and a guy pulls behind me in a well-preserved, classic Japanese sports car, I'm thinking "Awesome! Wonder if he'll tune my carb while I change the flat."
  18. Thru Speedventures.com we'll be Time Attacking the Auto Club Roval! We had 30 Nissans running at Streets of Willow a couple weeks ago including (5) 240Z cars! We're hoping to see 50+ Nissans at Auto Club. Learn more about the people involved here on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/NissanChallenge/ Feel free to contact me via this site or at sandy.isaac@gmail.com. See you there!
  19. I'm running the Silvermine rear brake kit with Toyota 4x4 front calipers, solid rotors and Project Mu brake pads perfectly installed by Beta Motorsports. (Thanks, John) The difference in braking power during my track events is stunning, especially in heavy braking zones like turn 3 at Auto Club Speedway where I had issues with Porterfield pads (that I hated). All that being said, if I didn't track my 240Z, I never would have upgraded the stock brakes which were perfect for all my street driving and canyon carving needs.
  20. Looking for a reasonably priced shop to repaint my '70 240Z. Originally green, now red and oxidized, I want to take back to green. And the bumpers need to be re-chromed. I live in Topanga, so somewhere on the Westside or near Woodland Hills would be perfect. Thanks.
  21. Just got my 1st Z in Feb. '09. Owned my '69 911E for six years.

I was looking at the Panasports too. There is a gigantic price difference between the Konigs and the Panasports. And while I'd love to save the $$$, are the Panasports that much a higher quality wheel?
  23. SandyI posted a post in a topic in RACING
Seems like the Konigs could be exactly what I'm looking for with that offset for my Z. Thanks for the tip.
  24. Butterscotch rocks! This summer I'll be changing my black recovered seats back to their original Butterscotch. Thanks for the tips.

Looking for a light and strong 15x7 wheel for my '70 240Z for track days to run Toyo RA1's and eventually Hoosiers. Thanks in advance.
