I got it matched off a NOS tail light panel. the same colour formula mixed in 2k(for use with a matt clear) and a mono metallic look very different. I can send samples to check if you like.

I'm taking mine to the paint shop next week to put under the spectrometer(?) thingy. As I have a few patches on the back that havent seen sun light. definataly a metallic. Not sure if a mono-metallic or just a satin/matt clear. All the real ones i've seen (good resto's) seem to have a dull finish metallic. Can let you know the paint code when I get it.

I was just lookin at your pics and I saw the brass welsh plugs. I don't recommend using them in anything with an alloy head. (will cause corrosion problems long term). Stainless ones are the go and quite cheap. Any how looks good so far. we need more 240K's on the road.
