Can I or should I put 2 shock struts on the hatch? 1 on each side. I saw other posts on replacement struts, but I didn't see any on putting 2 struts on. Any info. 71 Thank you very much, TimsZ

I have my steering column out of the car. I want to check everything out. Grease, etc. In the manual it says bearings can be serviced where the circlip is. The bottom column slid right out. Up top where the circlip is (steering wheel end) seems to be stuck. I don't want to force anything. Any info or help? 71 240Z Yhank you very much, TimsZ

I'm cleaning,painting,etc.,my heater/vent unit. The plastic tubes that have a flexible, slinky portion have broken apart. I'm not talking about the round vent tubes. I bought new tubes for those. I'm talking about the tubes that go from the blower to the unit and from the unit to the center vent. 2 separate parts. They are not round, they are triangular in shape. The center vent tube is triangular in shape and the other vent tube is square on one end and triangular on the other end. They are black plastic. Any solutions on repairing them? I have a 71 240Z. Most cars have something (cowboard,etc.) under the headliner. My headliner was glued directly to the metal. That is the way it was supposed to be glued isn't it? It took alot of heat. I want to put insulation (fatmat,etc.) under headliner. What adhesive do I use between insulation and headliner? Really good adhesive. Thanks alot

Would anyone happen to have the front fender inner support panel for sale. It's the ribbed piece on the rear of front fender close to where the door hinges are. I need the bottom part. The bottom 16 inch part is spot welded to the top. My old ones are completely rusted. I made one but I'm not sure how it conforms at the bottom (rocker panel). Should it be water tight at bottom to keep water from rocker panel. Does gasket go the whole way down? I need both sides, but one will do. Anyone have a picture? 71 240Z. Thank you very much, TimsZ

Thank you very much Mike, and others. The PO had done something to it, but I had to cut my back panel out completely and do some repairs. It's welded back in and looks great. Except for the welds your talking about. I guess I should have known that. Thanks again.

Could someone tell me what is on the rear lower panel below the bumper. There is a strip a foot or so long with 5 or 6 holes in it below the bumper. I can't remember and I can't find any pictures of what goes there. there are 2 holes below that and 2 holes off to the 1 side also. Any help on what goes there? I'm not talking about bumper holes. Thank you.

Would it be OK to cover the holes in the interior side of the rocker panel with insulation? I think there's 6 of them about 3 or 4 inches round. Thanks

I have TT coilovers and Tokico Illuminas. Does anyone know if I will need the Tokico spacers in the rear strut tubes? 1971 240Z. I would like to know before doing any work, cut, weld, etc. Thank you very much.

I'm cleaning the outside and inside of my oil pan. It's off the car. The inside has black paint (I think) that seems to come off easily. What's the proper procedure (paint,coating,etc.) for the inside of pan before I put it back on engine. thanks alot, timsZ

On the male part of the hood latch, inside the big spring, there's a round rubber bumper on my 71Z. Can you buy them? Mine is so cracked and dried up it's hard to tell what size it is. Is it really needed? any info? Thanks, TimsZ
