  1. Does the hood release knob go on the side beside door bolts? On the passenger side the air vent knob is on the side. I see pics of the hood release knob on the side. Where is the other mounting location? On the bottom of the dash?

What do you mean by running lights? I know what they do, but is it on a 71, just high or low beams? I have head lights with the small bulbs inside. Is that what you can wire the green/blue wire to? Thank you

Can anyone tell me where these wires go from the dash to the front of the car? The plug connects on the passenger side under the dash. The red blue wire is cut. One is empty. On the connector under the dash the plug has red/blue, red/yellow. red, and green. The red wires go to the headlights I believe. Where do the other ones go?

In my 71 I have LED lights for just about everything except headlights. I have LED cards in my taillights. Do you need resistors or is just a flasher enough. I have the Tridon electronic flashers. Should you use both the resistors and flashers? Are resistors used on cars with computers? Any info. Thank you very much. My cars not running so I don't know if the LED's hyper-blink or not.

If anyone has a push button start in their car, where is a good place to put the module? Thank you very much.

I just looked at a site that showed early and later motors. The 72-73 (later style) had 6 wires. 1 was for a wiper delay. Except my car is a 12/71 that has 6 wires. I forget, but isn't the 12/71 more or less considered a 72? Thanks

On the 71 wiper motor, I've seen where their should be a blue wire with a white stripe. A blue wire. A blue wire with a red stripe. A blue wire with a yellow stripe. A black wire. 5 wires total. I also have a yellow wire on mine. 6 wires, any info, thank you

It's just dirty. I thought I had seen them before ( the switch), in pics, etc. The wire protectors are the same as the other ones on the car.

Does anybody know what these wires are for? I didn't have them marked for some reason. I can't find the other half either. They came from engine bay area. The red with white stripe in the middle is a little bigger than the red with yellow stripe and the red with blue stripe wires. I don't see them on the wiring diagram. Thank you very much

I can't remember what this is for. Can't find it anywhere, books, etc. Don't have time to look real hard. Thanks. It's a toggle and has an on, off sign.

I have a 71Z with a 280 F-54 block,N-42 head, 6 to 1 ceramic headers, 2 1/2 inch pipes and a Ansa dual exhaust stack tip. Triple Mikunis also. I was wondering what kind of muffler, glass pack, etc. would sound nice? I would like it somewhat loud. Does anybody have this same set-up and have any ideas for me? thank you very much.

Sorry, forgot to i.d. alternator. It's an internally regulated Iraggi 220 amp. I'll look for labels. Thanks
  16. I have triple Mikunis with a Mikuni manifold. Do I need the coolant tube that runs around the back of the engine? I have a metal tube. Didn't it connect to the manifold? If I need it, where does it connect? 71Z with a F-54 block. What does it do? Thank you.

Is this the proper way to wire my alternator? It has two wires, like in the pic. I have an upgraded 71Z. Thank you.

I have some Nissan hex- bolts ( 08114-0251A ). 5 to a package. Is there a way ( easy way ) to find out what their for ? Thank you.

    Thank you
  21. Can you get them anywhere?
  22. You must not be able to buy these anywhere. I can't find any. I have new adjuster bolts. The square part on the left is leaning on the rubber- plastic part on the right that the adjuster bolt threads go into. Does anyone have a fix for these? Thank you.

In the picture you can see that on the very top of the pedal there's a piece that sticks up. It has the hole in it. It has a small slit in it also. What's its purpose? Is that where a spring would go? Thank you.
  24. I have dual Spal fans and a 3 core aluminum radiator for my car. The fans are a little over 4 inches. It doesn't seem like the fans will fit. I've seen pictures where there are fans and an aluminum radiator. Does anybody have this setup or have any info? Thank you very much.
  25. I fell in love with the 240Z when I was 16 also. Bought one when I was 18. Had to pay for it myself. The day I got the car, was the day I got my learners permit. I had to buy my own insurance also. That was 40 yrs. ago. I bought another one a few years ago. I'm upgrading every thing. I believe both cars were the same years, 1971. I'm putting f54 block, etc. in it. Triple Mikunis, so on. But the main reason I'm posting on here is because I think the early 240Z's are way better looking than 260's, 280's, etc. Smaller body and you don't have the big bumpers, etc.
