I have a 71 240z. I put a 81 280zx 5 speed trans in it to find out that the middle console is in the way of 1st 3rd and 5th geers. my question is should I cut the console which I would hate to do or is their another console that I could buy that would fit if any one has had this problem I would like to here from you thanx zeke

So you dont think I will need to take off the entire manifold unless I need to change the gasket right?

while driving my 240z I heard a exhaust leak . I found the leak between the exhaust manifold outlet and the exhaust pipes . the problem is that when I tightened it I broke the bolt is it possible to use a tap and die set or will I need more extensive work done such as a new manifold? any help is graetly appreciated thank you zeke

I met a guy who has a 260z he wants to sell me some brake pads from his car that he never put on. will these pads work on my 71 240z?
