  1. Sold it for $950 this wekeend, all parties involved were pleased . Thanks again for the help men.
  2. A noob question here: what would the typical rust areas be? I agree that the car is certainly prone to rust, personally after seeing some of the cars on the road/market I see this being more of a parts car tbh. hmm, perhaps the correct term would be "factory certified?" I'll have to check with him later, but I remember seeing some type of paperwork in reference to it being either "rebuilt" or "recertified," something of that nature. Thank you both very much for your responses.
  3. Hey guys, My dad has asked to help him sell his 240z, I honestly have no idea what the market is like other than what I've seen on craigslist and I would very much appreciate any help you could provide. Stats: -1973 240z -Factory rebuilt engine with 40k on it -Total miles 160k on the car -Paint and interior in poor shape -Webber carb, new plugs, wires, power booster -Also has spare motor with a good transmission in storage -New factory clutch The car is not currently running, it was worked on about 1.5 years ago by a local guy who put the new carb/plugs/wires/power booster on it and had it running decently. Since then its unfortunately been sitting pretty much dormant and my dad has decided its time to get into better hands. That's basically all the info I have currently, but I can always retrieve more for him. Any help on the price point would be very helpful, he enjoyed the car a lot when I was younger but he is nearing retirement and wanting to let it go. Thanks in advance!
