please help with electrical probs
ok, well i replaced the flashers, because they were old and needed replacement. The hazards worked better, but still no signals. So i removed the hazard switch and took it inside. Got out the old volt meter and tested the wires that led to the flasher to see if current could go through them. Got nothing. so i put it back in the car and just connected the two with a screwdriver, and they worked fine. I soldered them up and now all of my lights work. Thanks alot guys for all of your help. its nice to have such a helpful community for these old cars.

please help with electrical probs
ok i basically rewired the whole car, or at least what seemed dim or not working. Now all lights work, and are fairly bright. My turn signals still do not work and i believe it to be the flasher. Do you think that it would be a good idea to replace both the signal flasher and the hazard flasher. Thanks.

cheap paint dress up
I recently got my first car, a 72 240. Now this car has a fairly new repaint on it, but it was a very cheap job. It has a run or two, what looks to be puddles, and generally not a good finish at all, that isnt even uniform throughout the car. I dont think that it is clearcoated. Now i really dont have the money to get a new paint job right now, and this is only my first car so im not looking to spend a great deal of money on the car on something that i cant transfer to my next z. basically, I am asking how i would go about bringing a nice shine to a cheap paint job. The things that come to mind are sanding and buffing, and clearcoating, but as i am not a paint specialist at all i dont quite know. Please help, any is appreciated. Thanks -Will

OK heres how my new 240z is doing electrically none of the turn signals work, no clicking or anything the hazards work front and rear, except for the side markers front and rear the headlights only seem to work on high when the headlights are on, the brake lights dont come on like they're supposed to. Any help would be appreciated.

I am looking for a clean, mostly rust free 240z. I am willing to ship the car a reaonable distance. I'm in the northeast, so a car nearby would be preferred. Preferably a black car, but all colors are acceptable. Email any responses to CRVTT75@aol.com. thanks.
