Hey guys i got my shifter bushings in and i was just wondering if theyre hard to install, personally dont know anything about it so yeah. I have my service manual but i dont know how much of a help thatll be .

Ok guys ill be sure to get some pics soon, prolly later today after i get off of work and can crawl under my car. I appreciate all the help guys^^

Thanks tiger, yeah i dunno wtf he did and he still hasnt fixed it. Im tryin to figure it out but im confused as how to do it to be honest .

Tire is 195/75/14 and he balanced and aligned my wheels but when he did that the tire moved too far forward(dunno how) so now it rubs . He added some washers n junk so it would sit right and that was the outcome. I plan on having him just "unfix" my wheel hahahaha but thats not a perfect solution.

Hey guys, my front right wheel is set too far forward (my friend did it when he balanced and aligned my wheels and isnt around for a while) and when i take left turns it rubs against the fender and makes an annoying grinding sound. How can i set the wheel back a few inches? Tips please?

So i got the bumper off today, work was slow so i was like ok ima fricken take that bumper off!!! PICS!!

Hey guys it seems i need an ignition coil, anyone have an extra laying about that i may be able to buy or get off of you? Also need an intake, so same thing with that anyone got one i can buy or just one you dont need? Let me know.

Ohhh i see i see, well damn... I really hope he can do it then . He also has a whole bunch of people in the shop with him so maybe someone there knows about old Z cars . As far as the green goes yeah its awesome just needs to get repainted. The interior is ****ed up, the previous owner WELDED 300zx seats into it which i need to take a grinder and cut them out, then find seats that can bolt in there. The dash is in rough shape and the console is banged up, the guy cut holes into the dash on either side of where the head unit for the stereo goes which is annoying but itll be replaced.

Hahahaha nice Twsutt. As far as my mechanic friend i dont think he does, but he loves Z cars and owns a '88 300ZX so hopefully he wont get tripped up .

Hahahaha your jive? That was hilarious i was cracken up. Yeah my buddy is going to school to be a mechanic but hes been working on cars all his life. Hes taking it in to check it out and see if there are any other problems with it. I cant lock the hatch in the back though hahahaha im too scared to break my key off in it.

Yeah the bumpers comen off hahaha, gonna mow down some tweekers.

Wewt!! My Z looks way better in pics than it does in person sadly, i do have some questions. My stick shift has wayyyyyy too much play in it how do i fix that? And i smell gas when i drive my car so yeah, any suggestions?

Hey guys im new to this site but it seems pretty cool. Anyways im buying a 1977 Datsun 280z, my very first Z car. My friend has a 300ZX that hes in love with and told me i would have a lot of fun in this car and so far i really have. Anyways i have some questions, performance mods and body mods what should i do with it? I don't really know much about these cars so any feedback would be greatly appreciated. The things wrong with it is mainly just interior stuff like i need a new window crank and a new headliner and that jazz. As far as the engine goes its not the original L28, it has a newer L28 with fuel injection and i get the original motor with it as well so i plan on learning how to rebuild engines with that. So yeah, any feedback guys. That would be awesome.:ninja:
