I bought a set of new floor rails and a drivers side replacement floor from a site a while ago and have just got the floor welded in. I have gone to fit the floor support rails and noticed they are about 3mm narrower than the rails on my 73 240z. If they didn't have the folded mounting section I could slide them up inside my old rails. Bummer. I don't want it to look like they are tacked on to the old rails so I'm going to have to get some new ones made locally. Anyone else had this problem?

I found the gearbox crossmemeber so don't worry about the pictures. I needed it to hold my tunnel where it should be while I welded a new floor in place. The floors in now but if anyone knows about converting an auto to 5speed manaul I'd be grateful for the info.

Hi, can anyone point me towards a thread or photo on the site that shows the gearbox mount for an automatic Australian delivered 240z and whether it's different to a 5speed manual one. I have an automatic shell but I'm building it as a manual, I purchased the project in pieces (I don't recomend doing this to anyone!) and I've also moved house recently so it will help if I know what I'm actually looking for in the shed. I might not even have one. Thanks!
