  1. I selling my 1972 240z that has a JTR mounted chevy 355 v8. NOW WITH PICS: http://users.cwnet.com/vvortex3/zpics/ **UPDATE** I fixed the aforementioned radiator problem...the radiator wasnt cracked the ground wire for the fan was melted and i had to patch it. ********** (916)533-0007 Motor: Rebuilt and garaged since 1980 less than 200 actual miles on motor/quadrajet carb (just aged) Displaces 350ci, bored .030 over New Water Pump New Alternator New Starter New Hoses New Air Filter (chrome) New Battery New Holley Electric Fuel Pump and FPR New Clutch and Pressure Plate New Chevy camaro HO flywheel resurfaced New Chevy Clutch Slave cylinder New Tilton Engineering Clutch Master Cylinder & Steel braided line. Engine bay painted heat resistant black Transmission Rebuilt by Parker's Transmission 3 weeks ago, 91 World Class T-5 out of a camaro z28. Car is painted black primer and there is no rust, the body is perfect and ready for the overcoat color of your choice. An overcoat only paint job runs around 3-400 bucks. The interior is tan colored with very newly reupholstered suede seats. There is an aftermarket plastic dash cover that looks original and is in perfect condition, the carpets are in very good condition as well. The car has a custom driveline and There is a temporary exhaust setup (chevy downpipe bolted to datsun exhaust) that will need to be changed at some point to add some power. The current power of this car is comparable to a newer mustang GT but after the exhaust I expect that it should be a bit faster. The car is registered till the end of 2004 and currently located in Sacramento, Ca. I have a large folder of receipts for everything I have done that can optionally come with the car. What the car needs to be "complete" Better Exhaust Overcoat of Paint Chevy to Datsun Speedometer linkage (although i do have the JTR speedo cable) Stereo (I have removed the datsun unit while i had the dash out) a better Radiator Something to better hold in the battery Clean up my wiring (i'm no electrician but the car and accessories work)
  2. I selling my 1972 240z that has a JTR mounted chevy 355 v8. NOW WITH PICS: http://users.cwnet.com/vvortex3/zpics/ **UPDATE MECHANICS SPECIAL** I was running the car on a 280z radiator for 3 weeks which recently cracked. Car needs a new radiator. I immediately towed the car home on the first occurance of steam and the engine still runs and is not damaged (it will just overheat in a few minutes if you start it) I will sell the car in tow away condition for 3600 FIRM. This would be a good time to put the proper v8 radiator in. I will personally guarantee that the motor was not damaged by the cracked radiator or will repair it at my own cost. You can still come start the car and hear/see it run. *************************** (916)533-0007 Motor: Rebuilt and garaged since 1980 less than 200 actual miles on motor/quadrajet carb (just aged) Displaces 350ci, bored .030 over New Water Pump New Alternator New Starter New Hoses New Air Filter (chrome) New Battery New Holley Electric Fuel Pump and FPR New Clutch and Pressure Plate New Chevy camaro HO flywheel resurfaced New Chevy Clutch Slave cylinder New Tilton Engineering Clutch Master Cylinder & Steel braided line. I'm in no hurry to sell this car but I'm open to reasonable offers and trades (motorcycle, sailboat) The car is registered till the end of 2004 and currently located in Sacramento, Ca. This is a datsun 240z with less than 8 months on new factory color blue paint. I have replaced a few parts (headlights, points, spark plug wires, ignition booster, installed KYB gas struts, bluelighted pedals, Pioneer 45x4 cd player) I am asking 2800 for the car, note that it is Salvage title but nothing is wrong with it. It has been my daily driver for about 6 months. The car is currently in sacramento, CA.
