It shuts down while driving. Braking/stopping does ok.

76 280 power will just shutdown randomly. Anything time, any speed. I have to turn it over 5 or 10 times before it fires up. Once it does it runs great until the next time. Could be 10 mi or 100. Temperature not an issue. No exhaust or fuel issues.

76 280 will just shut down. Happens randomly at any speed. When restarting it will start/stop 5 to 10 times then runs fine for anywhere from an hour to a week.

I need a muffler for a 76 280. Been driving it since 1980. Looking for something not radically loud. Car is basically stock and I want to keep it that way. Don't need headers and I just changed the cat. Direct fit preferred. Magnaflow?, Flowmaster?, Bosal?. All suggestions appreciated.

by the way. if you you live in fair oaks you probably know my commute. it's from la honda to the end of marsh rd. it's the la honda to woodside section I have the most fun on and why I'm looking at a tighter setup. I can't remember what a stock setup feels like since the last time I put struts on was 1981. so what do you think? stock or the tokico kit.

Does the tokico hpk253 suspension kit make a radical difference. I know I need struts and thought the springs would enhance the package. I don't care whether the car is lowered an inch or not. Are you saying maybe I should just change the struts and use original springs or buy stock springs? Are the tokico springs alot stiffer than stock? thanks

Tokico vs Eibach vs any other suggestions for suspension kits. I drive 20 miles a day over a windy smooth road, (fun), and 20 more on city/highway. I've read a few comments that the spring upgrade makes for a somewhat uncomfortable ride for normal commuting. Seems though that the positives outweigh the roughness. Any opinions? thanks
