  3. Looking to move the spare motor, trans, diff and drive shaft asap. Price drop on all those parts together. $350 picked up. Cash only and will NOT ship. PM me if interested Stock L24 motor, 4-spd trans
  4. All parts bought from me shipped this morning via FedEx and buyers have all been contacted with their tracking numbers....thanks for the business guys...still a lot of extra stuff I need to sell. Inquiries welcomed.
  5. Update: parts bought towards the end of last week up till yesterday shipping this Friday.
  6. Messages replied to. 1st set of parts shipped this morning. Thanks guys. Still ALOT left here.
  7. That's fine....do whatever makes you feel better.
  8. Yes I understand about getting things together. All those parts I listed were major parts that you thought added to $500. And yes you said I could get more if I sell separately. Well I had a guy offer me $500 for just the engine and transmission. I did take all my craigslist posts down..but once I started going through all the miscellaneous electrical parts and stuff that was brand new in boxes it added up pretty quickly. Again, not looking to step on toes but I'm also not going to turn down another potential $750 on top of the $500 I was already offered. I work 6 days a week and its not easy for me to sort things out especially since I have 2 nieces and an ailing father to care for. I understand that you aren't happy I backed out...however, I did email you to let you know and that's about all I could do. Calling me a flake on here wasn't appropriate at all just because I decided not to sell everything for that cheap. You very easily could have emailed or PMd me privately instead...we are adults here. If the situation was reversed I would have just emailed you privately.
  9. I emailed you yesterday saying that after consideration I thought your offer was too low for everything I have. That gave you more than enough time to not come today or tomorrow. When someone else offers me the same amount for the drive train alone as what you offered me for everything, and after pulling parts out piece by piece and checking prices I felt like you were flat out low-balling me. I'm the seller, I have the right to NOT sell if I feel I'm being taken advantage of or low-balled.
  10. All parts are pending sale as of now.
  11. The stuff I listed is only about 1/6 of the parts I have here. Those are the larger items the I figure are worth a bit more than all the little parts. If I add up each individual part and price it out I'm sure I can make at least $2K or a bit more...I just do not have the time to clean every part individually and list it, although I'm sure once I do I'll have people filling my inbox and my phone will be ringing constantly with all the stuff here. Unfortunately, 6 day work weeks happen and that sort of time is not afforded to me. If you guys really want to see each individual part I can do that...but I'm not budging on my asking prices. At $1500 I'm giving away pretty much 700-1000$ worth of good useable parts.
  12. Looks like I might be sitting on them for a little while...I'd at least like to sell the spare motor, trans, and rear end... Going to sort through things more thoroughly this week and then update this with a complete list and prices for everything separately so if you need anything just message me.
  13. If I don't hear back soon I may start parting things out this week. I'd like to move it all at once but realize that might not happen so any inquiries please PM me on here or use my cell and email above.
  14. Really need to get this stuff out of my garage....price drop $1500 for everything
  15. Taking offers for everything. $2500 with everything I totaled up, or feel free to make me an offer.
  16. As of now, one potential buyer. Price is negotiable, I just really want to move these parts, as my car is on the road and I have no use for anything left. Feel free to shoot me an offer.
  17. Right outside Scranton, PA 18505
  18. $2500 or make offer.

Thanks for the response fellas! I'm still awaiting a quote on having the crankshaft machined, along with the bearings and the replacement connecting rod before I decide what way to go. I have money into a fully rebuilt cylinder head (E88), so once I get the quote I'll have a good idea of which way I'd like to go. -Mike

Thank you Carl....yes, I've thought of this option as well, but was unsure of what WILL or will not swap over. I guess my only concern is that I have a brand new rebuilt E88 so if it mates up to a different block that'd be great! Or like you said, the N42/L28. I'll have to check to see what is cost-effective, and close by to where I'm at(Scranton, PA)

Its a real short story....the car was purchased in non-running condition for around $1K. Body is clean, no rust, etc. Had that looked over....cylinder head(e88) was machined and a valve job was completed by my local machine shop. In reassembly, a different garage(where the car itself was located because they are doing other small things to it, electrical, interior, etc) told me that one of the connecting rods was bent, that its going to need the crank to be machined, so I'm basically trying to find the most cost effective way to install a good running STOCK engine. They are supposed to get back to me later on today with a general quote for the machining and extra work, but I was thinking that it might be easier to just swap in a different L24 engine that is in already good running condition. Then just do the intall myself and do it that way. Guess I'll know more when the shop calls me back with the estimate. I wish there was a more entertaining story to tell you guys...I've thought about just buying a complete engine, but there goes a little bit of my income tax refund and that money is already being sunk into a classic bike project for my father. He has a 1967 Honda Dream 160 touring that I've been after him to restore for the better part of 25 years....so I'm just taking my refund and using it for that to surprise him with.

Hmmm, what are you looking to get for it? I know to transport a full car from Oklahoma back here to where I am in PA was only $450. Let me know what you're willing to let it go for and if you can get me a shipping quote as well. Can you email pics to my email address as well please? -Mike

I'm desperately in need of a GOOD, solid mechanical bottom end for an L24 out of an early 240Z. My car is a '72 and spun a bearing. Or if someone is selling a stock L24 engine please contact me. -Mike Whitecomet21@comcast.net
