Ever since i bought my car i had always wondered what cam i have in it. Seems more powerful than any l28 i ever drove. zx motor in a 240. But there is a mechanical fuel pump. did 280 cams have the lobe? I am wondering if i have a 240 cam in my motor. Is it better for power or not as good as the 280 cam. Just wondering is all.

  17. 20w-50 is for sbc and such with huge bearing clearances. My buddy used to run that crap in his 3000gt 6g72 motors have a tough time in normal condition not spinning bearings. *sigh* some people.
  18. i bought 5 cases of vr1 enough for about 3 years . My car sees maybe 100 miles a week tops. I live out in the country and have very nice roads and curves. It gets its work out 3-4 times a week on the curves and gets driven hard. I use the car for fun and thats it. in fact it rarely sees a gear higher than 3rd.

the plugs are carbon fouled you are too rich. it could be stumbling do to the fact when you lift the piston you are dumping even more fuel in there boggin it down. Turn them in all the way and back out 2 or 2 1/2 I do 2 and work from there but i am only 600 feet above sea level. What i do when i tune is leave 4 old plugs in that are still good and only put 2 new ones in so i am not trashing whole sets at a time. YOu are barely supposed to lift that piston too. Like a **** hair. Anymore will give false results

That car is sweet but......it tells yah something its not yet LEGAL!!! yet he has plates on it driving it around. I thought they had to be legal before they left the dock. I know the first thing i would do before i even wasted money on the car is make it legal.

i am going to make some ducting for the spook and radiator. Then i am gonna try to find a two piece bumper. Kinda surprised no one spotted the lack of mirror's i wanna put them on the fenders but am having a hard time drilling them . Think i should wait a bit for that as the paint is about 3 weeks old. Anyone have any tips on duct work?

112 i think of datsun is a tricky color so is mine too. Most of the time the 112 looks yellow until it gets dark out then it shows lime yellow. Mine is fawking lime . When i photograph it though it comes up yellow looking.
