  1. For those of you using the 5.25" speakers: how does it sound? I can only imagine that it wouldn't sound as good as the speaker box that MSA sells because they're parallel to each other and are behind the seats? Sorry, I'm not too keen on the sound system business :[
  2. I had this on my previous car and usually when it just pulls to one side, it is most likely alignment. And I just came back from the Z shop to get a estimate for my rear drums but I asked the mechanic on duty about the wobbling at high speeds and he said that it could be possible that my suspension is set up with 0 toe in. He says that with 0 toe in the car just hunts for the grooves in the road, but he also mentioned that he believes it could be tie rods as well. He'll be doing a full car inspection by wednesday of next week, so I'll give you guys an update.
  3. 260zCaliCar -- on side streets and low speeds the car doesn't wobble at all. Only when it hits speeds higher than 60+ mph. I'll definitely let you guys know the verdict after I come from the Z shop.
  4. Sorry for the late reply. 260zCaliCar -- yeah, the car does feel as if its trying to turn and I constantly battle with the steering. The tires may be the problem as well, because the PO mentioned that he had put on some new tires. Thanks for your help everyone! I'll be taking the car to a shop specializing in Z's, so hopefully they can pinpoint the problem
  5. I just bought a '73 240Z with tokico shocks and eibach springs but whenever I get onto the freeway and exceed about 60 mph, the ride gets reaaaally wobbly and twitchy. Is there anything besides worn out bushings that could cause this?
  6. Well, to be more precise.. The speedometer reads pretty accurately. Although, due to the car vibrations and whatnot, the needle tends to bob A LOT. But thanks for your input Arne!

I've recently bought a '73 240Z and I noticed that the speedometer has been acting strangely. The needle bobs up and down constantly and doesn't really stay still. Is there a fix?
