  1. Now my car can get some attention. PS: No more "do you have touch up paint jokes". It's rough on the the proprietors nerves.
  2. You have to get an enclosed trailer! A friend of mine who IS a dent wizard had 4 cars with hail damage this morning. In the garage they're safe but IF you travel there's always a chance of rain and I'm here to tell you that nothing gets dirtier than a car (or bike) on an open trailer. I spent a day and a half back in '97 cleaning a bike that I "open" trailered to Daytona Bike Week. A major PITA that I've never repeated. Rust never sleeps; especially on nuts and bolts. FWIW. The car looks great. Can't wait to see it all buttoned up!!!
  3. PJ1 makes some nice products that I use on motorcycles and cars.
  4. Porsche hand painted (brushed on) the inside of doors to hide the exterior color from being seen inside the car. I can't see an easier way to do it without creating a mess. This almost looks like it might have started with a "roller" the way the paint is seen on the bolt heads and the "outside the border" at the top which is very symmetrical to have been done with a brush. Details, details...
  5. If folks understood how much time goes into an effort like this there would be less grousing about price. Blocking and re-blocking with guide coats involved is labor intensive. That's how you end up with mirror for a paint job. I watched your car getting a heavy dose of this activity. It almost pained me to watch. Yes, the red car is mine. I hope we can pull off a reasonable facsimile of an SC GT.
  6. I've watched this car for a while now. I know Chuck from the work he's done for me and is doing as I write this. This is typical of his level of performance. He is a craftsman and NOT a parts changer. That is what separates the "old school" guys. You also have to have a "willing" customer who wants it done right. This isn't insurance work! My hat's off to the guy writing the checks. The car is absolutely gorgeous. I cannot wait to see it completed!

Or cut the hood seal at the rear allowing air to come through with the hood shut.

Anyone familiar with this setup? It's old as the hills. Like a Trans Am, only more "Agrarian". Back of the hood with acorn nuts on the bottom of the screws and 7 holes in the hood.
