The seat fit pretty well, the top back rest was a little wide and rubbed on the door a little(on the very top of the door panel). If you want to see pics of it mounted, send me your email address. I'm 5'10" and weigh 170, and at first when I put it in, it was a little tight, but I took out some spacers under the seat mount and I fit really well. With the sliders you should fit no prob! Let me know.

I have decided to put it back up for sale, need money to finance the wife's new car, Very unique Eurpean car from the Netherlands, has 51,000 original Kilometers! The Motor is a L24 with E31 head, tripple webers with air horns and K&N filters, nice cam that compliments the carbs, custom Corvette radiator, headers with a custom exhuast. Tranny is a close ratio 5spd, rear end is a R-180 w/LSD. Body is near perfect. NO RUST ANYWHERE! The flares look exceptional. Interior is near perfect as well, Absolutely No cracks or blemishes on the dash, seats are newley re-upolstered(still have original covers), carpet is perfect, has original Datsun Floor mats, headliner is perfect. New MOMO Race steering wheel, MOMO pedals, MOMO shift knob w/boot. This car is a daily driver and a real head turner, none nicer in Colorado! Pics can be seen in my profile. No not yet, just decided that it isn't really the time to sell a car in Denver. I'll hold on to it until spring/summer and think about putting it up for sale again. Thanks for keeping up on it!

Thanks guys, I kind of figured that. I have found the first one for and unbelievable $192 on Amazons site, and $80 on Ebay, not one of the other. I'll keep hitting ebay every once in a while, or maybe some kind gent here will decide he is finshed with it and should pass it on to help another young mind learn the tricks of the trade. An idea to someone who has one of these, especailly if it's beat up, make a digital copy, but, uh, keep it to yourself(cough, cough).

Yep, it is a true Euro, have all the import docs. I figure I'll let this one go and pic up another nice one if a few years. I'll entertain any reasonable offers, I thought 10K was a bit steep too, just thought it would let me hang on to it a little longer, Thanks guys!

Sad day, regret having to sell my Baby. First off, this is a very unique Z. Eurpean car brought over in the early 80's. Car has 51,000 Kilometers which are reportedly original and I have no reason to believe otherwise. Motor is a L24 with E31 head, tripple webers, headers, custom Corvette radiator, close ratio 5spd, R-180 LSD, stock brakes, custom exhaust that sounds like no other Z I have ever heard. Mechanically the car is flawless except the tranny. The syncros in 2nd gear are getting warn, you can hear a noise(hard to explain) when letting off gas in 2nd gear. Still works great, was told that I could probably get quite a few miles out of it still. Cosmetically the car is flawless except the hatch, where the wing was fiberglassed down now has 2 small cracks in it where it meets the hatch on the sides thanks to a local repair shop who is not claiming responsibility. NO RUST. Interior the dash is perfect, no cracks, dings etc... I do have a cloth cover from MSA to keep it that way. Perfect brand new black covers on seats, I do have the old ones that came with the car that are black with soft fuzzy gold inserts in the middle that are in great shape. Carpet is original but in excellent shape. Floor mats are Original Datsun rubbers that have the pugs to fasten to the floor. The car was supposedly set up to be raced and never was(long story). The Heater control unit was taken out, but the fan etc... is still in place. There is a fuel pressure gauge in the center now with a switch for the fuel pump. I can give a mechanical reference(best in CO) or you can take it anywhere to have it checked out.
