First time I was able to get to a swap meet early on day 1, payed off with some dealer swag. Eldon Vories Motors, in Walla Walla WA. I started a FB page Dave Zeparta, (clever name right). I despise FB and it's tracking, It can still be a useful tool for staying in touch. I posted the pics there to get some traffic. https://www.facebook.com/dave.zeparta.3 Friend requests welcome. Picked up some NOS to sell too, only one Z car part though. a FI relay for a 75-77 280.

Cosmetics look great, but don't forget the mechanicals. Brakes, steering, chassis, electrical, etc. Be safe. SR821 (Canyon Rd) is fun. Nice looking car!!
  9. Just relaying information, gracias friend.
  10. Wow, someone has deep pockets. Makes me wonder if it was a member, saw my post and jumped on it. I think it had been up for 3 hours before I saw it. Glad I got mine for the price I did.

  13. Interesting thread @kats I have a pair of wheel stops 0 B and a set of O D The jack in my 70 was a newer one R 1 T I also have a jack from a 3/70 which I can't make out the letters. An interesting observation is the two are different lengths. I was going to swap out my newer jack for the older and it would not fit. Also I was working on my window regulator today and saw it had a date stamp as well 0 4 I IMG_0001.m4v IMG_0001.m4v
  14. Qu'est-ce que tu dis?
  15. Not really sure how this thread went Star Trek, but I will play along....... Remember Vina......
  16. I looked into this too when I picked up a 260. From what I understand is up to VIN 060000 is early, and VIN 060001 and on is late. This one is 035xxx, so I would call it an early 260.
  17. Not mine, just posted today. https://medford.craigslist.org/cto/d/three-datsun-240zs-two-72-one/6546839239.html Ad quote : "Selling three Datsun 240Zs in various states of repair. The mostly restored blue/black Z is a 1972 that appears to be close to running condition. There are two white 240s that appear to be shells of their former self - one is a 72 and the other is a 73. We are selling these cars on behalf of a deceased family member, so sadly we do not have any information on the nature of the restoration of the 72 that appears mostly restored. While a sale of all three to a hard core Z enthusiast would be great, we are entertaining all offers on any of the three cars. We are in possession of the titles." Some nice authentic NW Chia patina on the last one.

  22. Thanks, Exit 82. I take the 411 to 30 in the Z.
  23. Im a little ways North of Portland, but if it works out I would come down and meet up with you guys. Portland Expo & PIR swap meet next weekend too. I was planning on going to those.
  24. I was pondering this very topic at work today. In the NW we seem to have two paths cars go down. 1) is they are stored in a garage because it is so wet and rainy here. Thus we end up with cars in good shape just unfinished projects such as this one. 2) they are stored outside and end up rust buckets, like the cars I have found and parted. It's funny I hardly ever see Z's driving around, at least in my neck of the woods. Although I do see a lot of ad's for them on CL and Offer Up. Mine was a Portland car I bought in Vancouver WA. There was a smashed 72 in the JY about the same time I bought mine, that was a local Centralia Car. Al's City Motors (Ford's and Datsun's)
