I do still have the seats from this car. they look to be the originals. One is cracked but the other looks okay. Are you wanting just the cover or the complete seat bottom?

Z Therapy buys cores at times, and for what you have there it should end up at about $200 - $250. You have to pay the shipping to get them to ZT. Just an option........

ignition switch
Standard motor parts are decent, I have bought some in the past. They used to have a top quality line for some items that were supposed to be a better quality than their standard pieces. Not all parts were offered in the duel lines. As you probably know the part shown above wont help with the keys pulling out, just the electrical contacts. US-120 Standard does offer the tumbler with keys too. US-169L The Standard parts also come with a 3 yr / 36K warranty too, can't go wrong with that. Hope it all works out good for you Sweaty.

ignition switch
Well, the Ignition switch is one of those that you can't take apart, clean up and reassemble. So it is hit or miss if they will work or not. To each their own on new or used I suppose. In opposition to Capitan Obvious, My 45 year old Ignition switch works just fine. Not all of them will end up like the one above. perhaps there was another issue with the starter and/or solenoid / wiring / misuse that caused this? Not trying to plug my part for sale, I really don't care about that. I am with Patcon and would prefer a used original over a Chinese replacement. They can't all be burnt, Just saying.

Hubcap restoration project {updated}
- Oval foam air filters
These came in a bulk load of parts I picked up a while back. Oval foam type air filters that look to be new but not in the original boxes, for 70 - 72 SU (Hitachi) carburetors. The are similar to the Black Dragon LongFlo style air cleaners found on page 71 of their catalog listed at $39.99 each. Asking $55 shipped (med flat rate box is $13.45) Thanks.- Hubcap restoration project {updated}
The NOS center caps are sold to Zup I put a lower price on the hubcaps as shown in the first post (edited), with box dimensions and weight for shipping calculations. If anyone is interested post here or in a PM. Thanks- Hubcap restoration project {updated}
I know what you mean Site, besides these for a set of steelies, I have 4 sets of wheels in addition to the ones on my one car Sounds good Zup, thanks. Gav, I doubt Zup will drop out, but if so, I will contact you.- Hubcap restoration project {updated}
Sounds good Zup, If I don't hear from Siteunseen by tomorrow 4:20 PM you can buy the caps only for the price listed. Saves on shipping :-) I am all in favor of first to answer gets their place in line. The question is how long? 24 hours seems like fair enough time for Siteunseen to make his choice? I have not seen any forum rules on this topic. (or am I mistaken?) Only "Site" would have the option to say "pass" and move you up faster. Fair enough warning Siteunseen?- Hubcap restoration project {updated}
Two look great, two look a little tarnished. When I got them they were stuffed two in each box. Hope that helps. Center caps are sold. Hubcaps are still available- Hubcap restoration project {updated}
I ended up with these hubcaps in a bulk parts buy, and I am not going to do anything with them. A set of 4 stock hubcaps in rough shape that need work to restore them back to their original glory. The fronts are dirty and faded, the backs are rusty and some tabs are bent. Asking $20 + shipping 17 X 17 X 10 - 11LBS from 98579- 240z steering wheel plate
Not as pretty as the one in your picture, but it is complete. Front and back side of the steering wheel. I cleaned up the contact surface a bit. The rest could use some cleaning too. Came off a 73. PM if interested TZ- Help Identify this part! Need Your expertise!
I would venture to say that if you heard the horn even if just a short bit, says it is working. I would look to the wires and contact areas for a inconsistent connection. I happen to be cleaning up some switches today myself and your problem seem to fit todays activities. Hope you do not encounter any further hiccups in your reassembly today. Have fun at the Z show!!!- Help Identify this part! Need Your expertise!
As Zed Head says under the horn pad is just a spring loaded sandwich if you will, that connects the circuit to ground. A simple emery sanding of the plated should fix that. Also on the back side of the steering wheel is a spring tensioned contact that rides the outer ring on the wheel. This is how the signal is passed to the harness in a way so you can turn the wheel and not be twisting a wire, those contacts also need to be cleaned / sanded / filed. Might need to pull the wheel to get at the back side. I suspect that is the problem. As you can see on the wheel in the pictures it gets corroded and loses the contact. This contact is connected through the three prong terminal going to the turn signal side of the switch. The Red/Black wire can be checked for continuity to the sandwich plate as the horn button is pressed. I wouldn't expect you would need to buy any parts to fix this unless one or more of the above pieces is broken or missing. It should just need cleaning. My 2 cents.- Need help in the Seattle area

Hi, The Ign sw, is there, it is in the pic with the torque converter still on the column. It is very rusty and has no keys. The hatch lock is toast. I believe I have the door locks still, but again no keys. $5 for all if you want them + ship- Early 260Z part out. Vin 20XXX
