This link might work. At least for one photographer. https://www.facebook.com/media/set?vanity=bczregistry&set=a.791015816358692
  3. I know what I got....
  4. OfferUp is not a bidding site, It is more like Craiglist. It is supposed to hook you up with more local buyers. The have a seller reputation thing as well. One of their contact options is to "make an offer" to the seller.

I to understand, apologies for the delay. I hope the one you have inbound works out for you. If not let me know. I should have something that might work.

It had been an odd weekend. One of those “if it can go wrong it will”. i have a bin of collars that all have bearings on them. did you figure an overall measurement needed?

I am headed to a Z car show tomorrow morning. I'll see what I have that might help you out when I get home. There is a different one for the 240mm I bought my transmission from a 2+2 with the 240mm clutch. I used the collar from that car but bought a new 240mm clutch and aluminum flywheel. It works fine using the stock 240 master/slave and fork.

There are two collars for the ZX one fits the 2+0 NA with the 225mm clutch like all the280Z and early 280ZX, The other fits the later 2+2 ZX NA, and the Turbo with the 240MM clutch.
  9. Also $5k in Seattle a 73 with round tops. Looks like it might have been in a flood. https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/d/ritzville-1973-datsun-240zznumbers/7653612017.html
  10. Non 2400 valve cover, swapped motor? The cigarette lighter in the dash too might mean more swapped out parts. $5k as a starting point seems rather high for this one.
  11. It is on that invoice. HLS30-172583
  12. 73 for bid - no reserve. From the people that sold the Green $310K car. https://auction.owlshead.org/listing/1973-datsun-240z-with-38575-original-miles/?fbclid=IwAR1yrDQcHdODNOaxrnbx1QMZWOF5vVb4rOx3YqcQP2vn8qx8-KiQMPcQLeA
  13. Here is a good write up on that subject. http://www.zhome.com/ZCMnL/tech/R200.htm
  14. I swapped out my stub axles so the Z half shafts would still work. That was a bit involved. Some of the truck diffs have the bolt on stubs and are much easier to change over to your stubs. As Patcon said open means no limited slip.
  15. Is this near you? The VIN tag will tell what ratio is in the truck. 39 41 or 43 = 3:90 4:11 and 4:38 You have to swap out the clip in stub axles on some others have the bolt in style which is easier to swap.
  16. I would swap you an early mount for that 72 mount, Roo
  17. A maxima had an open 3:70 R180, that's what I put behind my 83zx 5sp. A 720 truck had a front R180 in open 3:90 a 4:11, and a 4:38 even a 4:62 if you can find it. The 240z had the 3:36 for the 4sp and a 3:54 for the automatic.
  18. These two. They mount over the center dash brackets.
  19. The bracket for the inboard side is often missing.
  20. Interestingly enough, the springs are the same length overall but the 280Z spring as a longer wound section than the ZX spring. I am sending the 280Z spring and collars to ea6 as they are all in better shape. I assume the tension on the spring is different too, with a longer wound area. Of course the English language has two definitions for wind and wound "I will wind my watch until it is wound all the way" or "The wind sent a shard into my arm and I now have a serious wound" WTF!!
  21. Thanks for the extra pictures CO. after putting my sunglasses on to cut the glare it looks to me like the washers and center collar pin are the same but the long spring might be a different length. I asked ea6 to measure his and see how for off they were. I still may have another TB or two laying around. I just did not have any ID from the cars they were off of. (Hoard purchase) The socket arms / brackets are most assuredly different.
  22. My spring mount holes are still on the TB, and still look different than ea6's I do still think the long spring and the collar parts look the same though.
  23. Thanks for the confirmation. The springs and collars looked right, just the lever looked a little different.
  24. @Mike seems we have some scammers in the classifieds. @ea6driver I posed a question to your classified ad.
