  1. Perhaps not, I had some loose TB's and do not know what there were off of. I thought the spring and collars looked the same. The 78 car I bought came with a 75 engine. It had the N42 non EGR manifold at least.
  2. Just had to dig for an old TB. My spring had this little piece of rubber inside it. The collars and pin need clean up. It needed a little heat to get it apart. The collars are metal on my set up. No plastic parts that I saw. Car parts manual only identifies the spring, and does not show the collars or pin.

I have heard good things about this company when they were in Oregon. Looks like they moved up to Lynnwood WA. https://www.powerbrakebooster.com I almost sounds like your reaction disc has fallen off.
  4. I received this in early 2020. Here is a pic of the markings. There might be a date code in there.
  5. I do remember some thing about the name Pilkington. Next time I get the car cover off I will get a picture of the name on there. I expect there is a date code.
  6. I should have one of those, Clayton. I'll have a look in the hoard and send pic's if I find it.
  7. I bought the MSA one for my deer impact replacement. It was thicker than most of the satellite type glass places I've seen. It is made by a company called XXX glass out of Canada. It was about $500 drop shipped to the bodyshop. No tint band on top.
  8. I have a used OEM relay. I never tested it.
  9. eBay has like 4 condition choices "New" "New other" "Used" "For parts not working" New Other lets you say it has been out of the box or has no packaging. etc. This seller should have used the New Other but chose not to. I agree he should state these are 3D scans and not new OEM parts right up front. He kind of hides that fact in the details. Personally I have not seen any 3D scans of parts that I would use. I would rather have a original part even with some wear on it.
  10. CO your "bold" statement is from eBay as part of their explanation of what a new part is. The ad states "reproduction with production quality" at the bottom of the graphic text. If you look through the feedback you see unhappy as well as happy buyers. Some say the parts broke in their hand and UNOB made them a new one.
  11. PM'ed you some pictures.
  12. Sure, I'll send some pic's this afternoon.
  13. I have a non A/C face plate off a 78. Looks to be the same. Some wear but the mounts all all intact.
  14. I only have one complete set. It is for sale though. $100 + ship
  15. I likely have the cover but no STL of it. Nor would I know where to get it scanned.
  16. That is a good question. I'm curious too. Here are some picture of the holes.

    I have a used 280z hub i'd sell.

It looks like that lip rides over the step on the spindle. The seal is farther in. I agree with Zed a debris shield. Functionally it keeps dirt off the seal, which could potentially fail and release grease on the brakes.

Just looking through the ones on eBay they look to all have the lip style. Like your second pic. The one looks shorter, perhaps it is like Zed says ground down. Could just be the picture.

@Yarb The OP has a 70 240Z but with a F54 280 engine. So sort of both. I think he has swapped in a 280 booster and M/C but is having issues. @240z70 They did change the M/C around as to F and R so make sure your lines are correct. The check valve is one way, but it sounds like you had it on correctly with the woosh, of air when disconnecting.

I am pretty sure you would have to drill out new mount holes for the bigger Boosters. I have heard of people using all of those sizes with the Clutch M/C. Are you sure the reaction disc is in place? is can cause some strange pedal / brake function if it has fallen off the plunger.
  22. Of course it is your car and will be your shroud when you find another one. I would suggest you do not cut up another metal one and take the time to put it on whole. It functions better as designed for full coverage. Cutting up a fiberglass one is not as bad, but might look odd. Best of luck on the search and end result.
  23. The pictures do help with the analysis, As CantechZ says it looks like someone has cut it in half.😒 It also looks like you are missing the small guard that sits above the fan attached to the top center of the radiator. You can see it in Cantech's picture as well. Those full shrouds are hard to install, very tight fit. Perhaps that explains the copped off bottom. They do come up for sale from time to time. That's how I found mine, just lucky I guess. I have a fiberglass one as well. With the economy they way it is I see a lot of items for sale, high priced but being offered nonetheless. Keep on the lookout.
  24. Others have mentioned that. @Mike
