  8. hello folks, thanks for all the great advise. tumbling wheels looks really easy and good but the price almost knock me off my chair. i was thinking about sending all my bolts and parts to zeddsavers. i was quoted $600 for the entire car. still not too sure which direction to go yet.
  9. i'm planing on cleaning and restore all the bolts(metal) i have. what is the easiest and most effective way to clean them? i was reading this thread: http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16506&highlight=electrolysis but it more related to removing rust. I don't have any rust. I just want to refresh the metal and make it look new again. any suggestions?
  10. i will keep you guys updated once i get some pictures
  11. sblack01 - i will provide some pictures but not anytime soon. the car is located 40 miles away from me. the only pictures i have with me is the whole car. 26th-z - you guessed it right. it came off of a fairlady, in fact it is a real fairlady z.
  12. currently, it is still on the car. I haven't taken it out yet, haven't made any real plans yet. PO told me it is the real early 5 speed. it looks skinny and different from the later 5 speed. thanks zbane for the info.
  13. I have a early jdm 5 speed from a 70 240z. it was mated with a L20a motor. I'm trying to figure out what the ballpark price would be. does anyone have an idea what it is worth?
