I have the same thing in my z trunk. a spare tire and a co2 tank on the side. if you have AAA, then you're fine.

is this bad for the compressor that is always on? if winter arrives, can i just remove the belt and leave it until next summer. won't that hurt? i will try and look for that switch and the relay underneath the dash. Thanks for your help

I realized today that my A/C compressor in my 77 280z is on all the time. even though if the blower inside is off, I could still feel a little bit of air (very cold air). 1.) I know this is not normal for the compressor to turn on all the time. I checked all the connections, they seems to be fine. Is this bad for the compressor to be on all the time? it seems the clutch is not working or is there something i need to replace, like a relay? 2.) Also, the a/c is really cold in the morning compare to in the afternoon. Not that cold compare to other cars. Does this mean that I need to put an electric fan in the condenser? Need help on this one. Also, the heater does not work, which I don't really need in California. Thanks

did everything, but no chance at all. probably bad starter. starter was recently replaced a month ago. I don't know why it went bad at all. I will take it back to the shop where the previous owner took it to have the starter installed.

all grounds has been inspect, but same thing happen. i tried jumping it in the starter, but same thing happen. could be a bad starter?

Purchased the Brown one today. Liked it. A/C blows fine. But I encountered problems already. When we test drove the car, It started really fine. Then bought the car. Started again and it was fine. Went to do a test drive and decided to drop by in Jack in the Box for a while. Got back in the car... and PROBLEM started. The car won't start. The car won't crank at all. I have checked the battery connections, they are fine. Checked the Voltage using the voltmeter, it measures (12.8v). Checked the starter wiring in the starter both the Negative and Positive, its all tight. Tried banging the starter to check that probably the solenoid is sticking, but it didn't solve the problem at all. The starter has been replaced a month ago. so it's still brand new. When I try to start the car, all i hear is the relay ticking, and fuel pump. But that's it. Does anybody know what is the remedy for this? I spent 2 hours already but no chance at all.

yeah thanks i will look forward to that. The seller told me that whenever he fills up the gas tank, the gas leaks on top of the tank. he said it's the gas pipe that needs to be replaced. Is this a rubber hose? Is this easy to replace?

Thanks. I will check again and look at the floor pans. rust are just suface rusts. Hopefully i wouldn't find any in the floor pan.

I can't wait to get the car. The person is selling his car for $1500. Here are the problems... leaking fuel rubber hose near the gas cap. Cracked dash and seats. cracked exterior paint, couple rust spots, broken windshield. The good... has A/C, no oil leaks or any leaks at all. body is straight. no accidents. Is it worth the price?
