Just wondering if you could help me, is this the same yellow that my car is under the bonnet(c my photo album), and it lime 112 the name i would ask for at a paintshop? ANy help appreciated. -
Its rigged up beside, but not in conjunction with a black wired box which i assume is an alarm system, car electrics are not my strong point, and i don't want to end up with a car that did run fine, now not going, i'd really like to know what it does. What should a transistorised ignition do

Would anybody be able to tell me what this is, its mounted in the tool box behind the drivers seat on my 73 240, i've been told that its a transistorised ignition. SU carbs (english) 1 1/2 inch. Are they any good? -
Vacuum gauge on LHS of panel, is that a 260 think or just because of the way that the clocks corroded electrolitically and didn't work? -
I think i may use the centre from that steering wheel, as its not cracked inside like mine, but i don't know what model Z its off of, because i thought 260's had the datsun in the centre not the Z, correct me if i'm wrong, THe door panels are in pretty good nick too. -
Side on, most damage restricted to LHS and bonnet, i'll probably chuck those wheels and those mirrors on my 240 for the time being. Anyone wanna buy any 2+2 bits -
Showing the damage, the low brow i got it off had the brake warning light on for a few days, then all of a sudden, they ran out of fluid and he ran out of the ability to stop -
This is the 260z 2+2 I got for use as a parts car, mainly gearbox, and whatever else i find -

i'm 18, doesn't and i just bought my first z (a 73 240), which i intend to fix up, and isn't buying a z a sign of growing up (leaving buzzboxes alone etc and going for a real car)

Hello, can anybody help me, i have found a cheap, motor from a datsun 260c, it was an auto (hopefully it hasn't been thrashed) i was wondering if it would be possible to put this in my 240Z with the head off the current motor on it. DOes anybody know if they are the same as the 260z motors, is it possible/worthwhile. ANy help would be greatly appreciated.

Help, I'm after a cheap/free damaged front fibreglass spoiler for the front of my 240Z, i have a boat builder friend who can repair it, but i can't afford the cost of a new one, I would be willing to pay postage etc within aust. I'm in south australia, any ideas.
