Where to attach rotisserie
I have done a search,a nd come up with some conflicting answers, I was planning to attach the front of my rotisserie to the bumper mounts (is just a bare shell) but many seem to use the tow hook points, its nearly made at bumper mount stage, will this be ok? Cheers Chris

Rally anyone?
Where did you get that poster from, I could see something like that taking pride of place on my bedroom wall. In two years of searching, I have never found a 240Z poster in aus.

New dash, anyone?
That was last weeks add, and it actually went that day, I saw it and its not a real dash, but a fibreglass cap to stick over the whole dash, comes in black with original pattern. Alfa Fibreglass made it many moons ago, it was pretty well done, the car he had also had fibreglass front panels by alfa and they were pretty damn nice. Maybe they have to 260 mould as well?

Brisbane...SERIOUS RACE SEATS
Gav, not trying to talk you out of it, but you DO NOT want to sit in a solid plastic racing seat for any lenght of time, unless you have some serious adrenalin pumping through your system, its not a nice feeling.

Latest progress
Looking good, not sure about the colour choice, but I am sure it will look great in the end. If you arent in a hurry, 12 months of free undercover storage doesnt sound too bad, gives you time to get the rest of the bits.

Vented or Not?
For me it has to be non vented (I am keeping both to keep my options open) but at this stage the non vented just looks cleaner, a few stamped in vents might look ok (like the ones out of a school locker/e type)

Check THIS out! S20 engine in So.Carolina...
I already tried to email the cops for that area from their local site, but it bounced back, maybe someone closer wants to give it a shot? I have had my shed done over, parts taken off my car, tools stolen and manuals, gone, and boy the person who did it better hope I never find out where they live.

260z head
Yeah the head may be alright (but it would need a slight shave) its a freshly rebuilt head and engine (less than 20,000k's ago), and seems to have been put together missing a big corner of the headgasket. The company who did it for the previous owner, not naming any names seems shonky, there were far too many nonmetric bolts on it for my liking

260z head
It has some weird properties, where the jello covered well it stopped rust, but the cam has some rust issues. grr

260z head
While we are on the topic of heads, why would there be a corner of a head gasket missing??? It did wacky stuff to the oil
-
260z head
It would have the E88 head, all our 260Zs have that as far as I know, I haven't seen any other head. I just finished pulling one from a late 260z, and watch out if bloody hurts when you drop it on your foot . Its cast on the spark plug side of the head if you want to check, near the front of the motor. You sure its not had the round tops retrofitted, either pommy or japanese?

Electronic rust prevention?
I believe it would work to an extent, but then so does bolting on a sacrificial zinc anode (used on boats etc) the come in various strealined sizes, and I am sure you could hide a few away somewhere

260 z on ebay
He has been very careful to show it from the more flattering angles though hasn't he?

260 z on ebay
Not sure about it, it looks neat enough, and pretty well presented (just think I once wanted a car that colour), mind you that colour is subtle to the fluoro orange (from a charger) 240Z I saw yesterday. It looks like is has been loved, so it might be a good buy, but it would be christened as a bumble bee pretty quickly. Its a pretty late Z car by aussie standards, dont see too many 78's around. I would want to see under the bonnet etc etc

What is attached to rear deck?
If the rear deck is the hatch, its probably the panel that allows you to access the lock etc. Just pop it off when you spray.

Home page Z
I thought I better let you know, the home page pic is from go z racer's gallery, but it says it was sent to him from someone else, so there are no pics of the actualy car in the gallery.

Tell Me Yours I Want To Know
Hmm desert in Australia, that doesnt really narrow it down too much. But then again how far into a desert would the ground clearance of a 240Z got you? I wonder where it is now?????
