Fuel Pressure Regulator Replacement --- Results???
Maybe it's just semanthics, flooding I mean by excess fuel in the cylinder in such manner that the spark plug gets wet and won't ignite. Maybe that's a "running rich issue". I installed a permanent fuel pressure gauge between the fuel filter and the injectors rail. When running rich the pressure is normal, then I disconnect the fuel pump and the pressure drops, but the engine runs normally until, after a few minutes, the engine shuts down.

Fuel Pressure Regulator Replacement --- Results???
I replaced mine thinking that the fuel flooding problem was generated here due to a fissure at the regulator's diaphragm. Te regulator was really cheap so I decided to take my chances and replace it. The fuel flooding problem continues with no changes.

fuel system issue
I have exactly the same problem. First I thought it was the AFM, but what I am now doing is disconnecting the fuel pump from it's connector at the cars's trunk. It remedies immediately, the fuel pressure goes down until it runs off. Ten I reconnect the Pump and start the engine again. I continously repeat the procedure until it gets fixed. After some time I start the car will continue with the same symptom: Fuel Flooding Engine. Haven't found the cure for this fuel flooding engine. Thanks

The whole dashboard panel is on and some days the fuel meter lights and some doesn't. Where could be the false contact ? It's a digital dashboard.

Fuel level on and off
The digital fuel meter goes on and off, when on marks accurate and the rest of the console is on (speed and rpms). Checked the floaters with a voltmeter and everything ok (2 to 4 volts aprox). Any idea whats going on ?

Flooded
Suddently, after 27 years, he decided not tu run. Excesive fuel passes thru the exhaust pipe. Sometimes one cylinder or two runs for a few seconds and then stops. Huge clowd of fuel vapor behind the car. If it was carburated, I would tell the floater got stuck, but its an injected. Sparks are OK and the spark plugs are all wet. CuadroS
