  1. Actually they do fit 14" rims.
  2. The one on the right, not the 240z.
  3. This is the drip tray which mounts under the hood and left ( driver ) side hood vent on the 77- 78 280z vented hood. There was never a similiar piece for the right side but one can be custom fabricated out of a left side hood vent.

  5. You can repair that with Plastic Welder Epoxy and it will be stronger than f@#$. Just make sure that each of the 3 sides is epoxied in place and the 2 pieces of the circuit board are lined up. It might help to unsolder the brake wire from the broken piece first. Remove any excess cured epoxy with a Dremel or the like, and reassemble carefully. P.S. JB Weld Plastic Epoxy is okay but I prefer Plastic Welder. Good luck!

Looks like American citizens are being detained with no due process. That sure looks political from where I stand. Trump and Barr want their own Sturmabteilung in the guise of Homeland Security. Still think it can't happen here? Thankfully Trump lacks the attention span and is too greed addled to consciously pull this off without tons of help.

What does a country do with citizens like this? https://www.forbes.com/sites/tommybeer/2020/07/16/anti-mask-rallies-continue-in-us-amid-rising-coronavirus-cases-and-deaths/#4db470112246 Sadly, it seems the only thing that may teach them some humility is a newer and and deadlier virus...
  10. Actually I am tripping on these bushings. I just checked the 10 or so mustache bars i have on hand and they all have sleeves, but they are flat inside the circular aperture of the mustache bar. When I saw the sleeve that Toolboy "custom notched" it reminded me of the sleeves I distinctly remember as being sometimes found on late r200 mustache bars. Later r200 mustache bars had the original sleeve but there was also an extra bit of metal (which if memory serves was also notched or similar) surrounding the bushing so the rubber cylinder had a smaller diameter and the rubber in these was barely damaged when I would happen upon them.
  11. Those "sleeves" only came on (to the best of my knowledge) later era 280z mustache bars; like '77 or '78. On earlier mustache bars there was just the curled around spring steel which the stock bushing was molded into. These bushings shredded easily. With the sleeves there was less rubber used so the bushings had better longevity. The mustache bars with the sleeves I have found have most always had good rubber and have been reusable. The sleeved bushings look like they were pressed into place during manufacture. I think maybe because both bushings were integrally designed with the mustache bar, they were never meant to be separately replaced. Nissan did not offer replacement bushings but they did offer complete mustache bars ( the little rubber/ metal washers were replaceable and available at one point).

You are right, here is todays public service announcement; Disinfecting with Clorox, Today, I wanted to make a mixture of Clorox to disinfect the counter tops in the kitchen, bathroom, etc. The working mixture of bleach to disinfect is 1:10 (initial volume/final volume). I assumed that the amount of Sodium Hypochlorite (SH) in the Clorox bottles was 6-7%. I checked the several bottles of Clorox (4 of them) we have in the laundry room and I could not find the amount of SH on any of the bottle labels. These Clorox bottles are all of the “Splash-Less” type, commonly available in the stores, and therefore the amount of SH, although not stated on the label, I have found it is no more than 1%. So if you dilute it further 1:10, you end up with a mixture with 0.1% SH, just good enough to brighten your laundry, and that’s about it! Furthermore, on ONLY one of the 4 bottles, it states clearly that this type of “Splash-Less” Clorox is NOT made to disinfect anything! The solution is to buy REGULAR BLEACH CLOROX, that is if you still can find it, which has the right concentration of SH (It is shown on the label), or use another make of beach, but also checking first the SH concentration. -Copied from somewhere-

That is a blanket generalization that polls have never been right. Sometimes they are, in this case I would believe that there is an uptick in the approval rating otherwise it would not be reported as such. We would be seeing contrary information if President Trumps approval was sliding.

At this point it is pretty clear who President Trump is. The fact that 55% of Americans support his response to this crisis makes me wonder about that group of Americans. The bar has been set so low for the office of President because of this person I am beginning to think even I could do the job.

I quickly changed the channel when it was time for the Trump Show. Here is today's plot synopsis; Lie. Lie. Blame. Self pity. Euphoric hyperbole. Lie. Obfuscation. Much obfuscation.

Another plus, salvage yards down here are still open. Real easy to remain socially distant whilst pulling parts!

Wonder if that will come to pass in the USA?

Me neither. I wasn't besmirching American workers but underlining the fact that next to no Americans would be getting any bailout from their employer...if it indeed trickled down that far. Side note; workers on cruise ships are "allowed" to be inebriated, provided they can hold their booze and it isn't obvious.

While they employ a total of around 250,000, Americans comprise something like 4% of that figure. Mainly because it is a brutal industry to work in and Americans don't want to work that hard...but still.

So much for free market capitalism. Wonder where all the budget hawks with their whining and complaining about the "nanny state" are?

Well the megarich business owners are not going to be miserable if they get their bailouts. Can anyone tell me why the cruise ship industry needs a bailout? What do they contribute that outweighs their fiscal irresponsibility? Socialism for the rich, capitalism for an average Joe like me. BTW Harvey Weinstein tested positive for the Corona virus.
