Also check the spark plugs, my other car had a dead cylinder a little bit back that did the same. Basically, just had to change the spark plug as that one was dead.

Wow, that sure is a lot of bolts....might have to do that. Question #4: Will a tansmission mount crossmember pulled from an 81Z work on a 75Z? Or where can I buy one?

I'm in Arvada, Colorado. Ok, so all metric... Question #3: Anyone know how many bolts the tranny needs to be bolted in and what size? Ok, so in order for this Z to be mine, I have to completely restore it. It was taken apart 15 years ago and he doesn't remember much about it. I do have a book for it but it's not very informative where I need it to be so I'll be asking a good deal of questions. Question #1: Does the '75 280Z need transmission mounts? I found brackets and I want to make sure that is what they are before I go trying to hunt down tranny mounts for a Z. Question #2: All the bolts were lost, are these cars metric or standard?
