    i have a driveshaft from a '71 240z 4 spd that measures 27" from the end of the spline to the flange(complete length) let me know if you need it
  2. Send me a list of what you need. I parted one out last year and have numerous parts. I have the door lock clips, but only one hand crank. Where are you located? I can help getting her all back together. I have a pair of sun visors that have mint vynl and are the brownish colour. I have a full driveline, wiring harness', decent fenders, console,glovebox door,wiper motor with transmission. as well as the factory slotted rims, that look like the rims in your picture. thanks for your time.

  4. Where can i find info on the pressure valve and how to adjust it properly, and the person who put this car together put the vacc/boost gauge feed to the intake and all it reads is vaccum and does not go over the 0 mark
  5. are these l28 engines internally or externally balanced?
  6. when i set #1 @ TDC....the timing mark is aprox. 90 degrees out from the 0 degree mark on the crank......i assume the harmonic balancer is defective??? am i correct???or is there adjusment like the cam timing and its in the wrong position? what degree of advance should i use for the ignition timing? the engine block casting # is F54 followed by a 0701A, s/n is L28 513794 the head casting number is P90 the computer is A11 or All-604 420/ L28 / 8Z13 the engine does have a turbo also Is there a way for me to find 0 degrees on the crank without pullin the front cover....ie, is there a key way that is at 0 degrees Thanks, Ed G

  8. you are correct.....i am alwways looking to do things correcly...not into jimmy rigging things.........what would be the correct #1 position be, at the distributor
  9. no not yet.....havin trouble getting at my tools,.....but i have set it at #1 tdc and find that the timing mark on the crank is possibly 30' out....i haven't even found what to set the timing at yet........im a chevy guy, so i have those resources...i'm just helping a friend out, to get his car finished
  10. im working on a 73 240z, with a 79-80 280z engine....code l28e(that is the code on the cpu and block), it is also turbocharged.... the engine was just rebuilt and the car fully restored...im in the final process of completion, but cant get the engine to run.....has fuel and spark to the cylinders, but wont run.....has to be a timing issue.......an help would be greatly appreciated....thanks James
