Hey Everyone, I like thank those who attended last year and in 2009. For without your support this year probably wouldn't happen. The date has been set for our 3rd Annual Custom Car Show, while I am waiting for more details to come in to post up here is the skinny: Date: Sunday, October 2nd. 10 - 4 pm Where: Umigo Indoor Kart Racing @ 6538 Patterson Pass Road, Suite A, Livermore,CA 94550 Who/What: As always, this will be a FREE charitable event supporting the Taylor Family Foundation and Coins for Campers. Check them out at http://ttff.org Teams such as ProjectRide.net will be there to support our fund raising efforts by bringing out some sweet rides! We are expecting vendors such as AMP Energy, AutoSport209, 12v Spotlight, and others not yet announced. Support from our dealership vendors such as Diablo Dents, Finishing Edge, B&S Hacienda Auto Body, Advance Interior Restoration, and even factory support from Lexus will be on hand to make sure there will be some great raffle prizes. Food Trucks will on hand plus Dryers ice cream to top it off. We may have a funnel cake vendor again too! We will be using both the left and right side of UMIGO's building, plus the roll up doors to the track will be wide open to allow the action to flow from both sides! We should have either two DJs or one DJ and a live band! We will have trophies as well! Categories will be expanded this year. As of right now, we have space for about 200 cars. Remember, we aren't looking just for fully built cars, but mildly modded ones are welcome too. Parking will be close and easy. Motorcycles are welcome to come and show too! Let me know what you guys think, but go ahead and shoot me a PM of who is pretty firm on showing this year. I will be updating details as I get them. Hey Everyone, Thank you for all the support and interest! We hit just over 220 pre-registered cars and over 10 vendors! Our target was for a mellow 185 cars! We hit our dealership back lot capacity while still giving everyone's car some room in between the cars. Regrettably due to the overwhelming response, we do have to close the registration. I am taking names and contact info if anyone would like to be on a standby list. Just send me an email. Otherwise, I think we should have great weather and anyone is invited to come check it out. Not everyday a dealership will host a car meet in Northern California! There will be music, BBQ, raffle prizes and of course custom cars to look at and meet their owners. Doors open at 10:30ish to about 3:30ish. All proceeds go to benefit a local charity, The Taylor Foundation and Coins for Campers. Everyone, The automall I am working for has BMW, Acura, Infiniti and Lexus in Pleasanton, CA. East of San Francisco about 30 miles. We will be hosting our 2nd Annual FREE custom car show on 10/10/10 to anyone who wants to attend and it will be FREE to anyone who wants to show off their ride. The service managers are all hyped after our last year's show at the Pleasanton Automall and want to start being known as a mod-friendly dealership! I am in charge of promoting this event and want to make it sucess and great time for everyone attending. There will be BBQ, prizes, vendors, music and trophies. We will have room for about 200 cars, any make, any vintage, and any type of mods. So whether you have a BMW, Lexus, Acura, Subaru, Mazda, Mercedes, Porsche, Honda, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, Chevy, Ford, or Dodge. Bring it down! Registration will officially open up the 1st of September, so mark your calendars! No worries for anyone's car being perfect, more mods the better! But if show level quality is how you roll... We are putting this show together for car people and those who love cars. No hardcore stuff just a low key event with the one thing in common for all of us, A Passion for Things that Move You Let me know what you members think! OH, If anyone is or knows of a performance vendor who wants to attend or participate space is FREE! I am also hoping to find a performance vendor who might want to hold an indoor tech clinic, we have the space for it.. If you know anyone, have them contact me for details. We have over 350 parking stalls for service cars. Without overcrowding, we can accomodate about 200 show cars with the vendors comfortably. Food service will be staged at the end behind the Lexus service shop. I like to personally thank everyone who pre-registered to show off your cars at our First Custom Car Show on October 18th. Registration has closed With over 130 pre-registered cars, we have approached the capacity for our dealership without over crowding the event for both show cars, their owners, and vendors. We confirmed every registration by email with some show info upon receipt of your registration. If you have not received your confirmation, it was either an email address was NOT provided at registration or the email provided was not valid or your registration was Spam blocked. By not receiving a confirmation, you run the risk of not having a spot for your car, as I can only count those we were able to contact. I have to make sure everyone who said they will show their car will actually do so mainly because we have limited space and since we are supporting a local charity for kids, I don't want a valuable spot going to waste. Hope everyone understands if you are turned away at the check-in without being on the list. :mad: If you feel this is in error, please contact me directly but with a good email address please. Food service will be at the end behind the previous Volvo dealership. We decided to make this a charitable event as well. We will be supporting a local charity for kids. They will be hosting a booth showing one of their Karts and providing some show discounts! They have one of the largest indoor Kart tracks in the SF Bay Area with 20 different track layouts and about a half mile in length. www.umigoracing.com Looks like Monster Energy said they would come on board as well! Registration is still open! Remember there is NO COST to show your car. Plus I am still looking for a performance parts / tuner who would like some booth space for free too!
