About the same.. :/ Depends on octane used. 98 is closer to 2 € per litre

Indeed that is fine specimen! For some reason i like the little "Elaine" sign on the dashboard, its like Herbie, but only Z (and female)

I know the feeling bro... i know the feeling... Not that easy just hit the road and go for a road trip, got to save a few hundred first to be able to fill tank...

I would get rid of it. IF you happen to sell it someday to a guy who is looking for nice sports coupe with all the luxuries, then AC should be left on. Remember, taking it off makes it lighter/faster
  5. This thread just reminds me how cool place this forum is. Hope you get what you are looking for Actionape!

I just sent my carbs to glass blasting, results were awesome (and cheapish)
  7. What kind of paint did you use on half shafts? Powder? Any primer?
  8. They used those 5 speed wooden knobs on Euro or JDM Z's.

Thanks Alan! Im in no rush, im planning to drive with SU's this summer, or at least the beginning of it, cause getting all the jets etc etc is money eating process. Got to take this slowly so i can afford to buy butter to cover my bread Might a trade come in question? I have no use for that 149 series Weber.

Numbers are 15515 and 15391. CheerZ!
  11. A lotto win to here too, and single Weber 40dcoe18 plus set of 6 chokes and aux venturis... for starters

But still... i wonder does anyone have extra 18-series Weber for sale...
  13. Reverend replied to Reverend's post in a topic in Carburetor Central
Might just be easier (read: cheaper) to sell these 2 + 1 and try to get a matching triple.. :/ Dayum my luck.
  14. Reverend replied to Reverend's post in a topic in Carburetor Central
Those 2 are 40 DCOE 18's and that "extra" is 40 DCOE 149

I wonder if i could get a similar style 3rd carburator...will it then work?

I did a trade with a dude from CA... He sent me set of triple webbers and manifold. Only downside is that THIS IS NOT MATCHING TRIPLET :mad: Is it anyway possible to run with this setup or should i just resell these as matching pair + one..?? All of them are 40mm. Edit: dont mind about that booklet it came with the package!
  17. Nice one, guess i'll take some of my polished parts to paint shop and ask them to find out proper color for them. Was the paint 2K or 1K paint? Did you use primer?
  18. But ye beware of cheap ignition parts! I installed brand new taiwan-made 20$ switch to my Z. It lasted couple of months and then started to behave just like that. Now i have ye olde switch on place and no problems..
  19. I have been steadily refreshing my engine bay for all winter and now its almost time to paint it... EXCEPT i dont know what to do with those dang fuel/brake lines. I have sanded them to look perfect, almost chrome like. Now i just realised that they'll rust eventually if not coated with something.. :/ I called to paint shop and asked if they could be coated with clear coat...NAY they say. What would you do?

It even has all the original Z40 equipment! WOW!
  21. I think people from HybridZ could answer that better IMHO.
  22. My wife wanted me to take our dog with us when we are driving around. After seeing this thread, she finally believed me.
  23. I bet this has been discussed and its a bit OT but how do you "feel" the effect of strut bar? It looks nice and if it has benefits, i might get one for myself.
