I had them tuned by a pro and i havent touched them since (2 years). There is good quality sets for sale if you keep looking, im sure many of our forum members have extra pairs waiting for someone to buy them

Im currently having 350z coloured 240z as you can see from the pictures, original colour was the lime green. A17 is the code. BUT the engine bay is still original and due lack of money i have to prepare and paint it myself. Im just curious what do you think... should i paint it with matte orange or what? Dudes here say that pearlescent paint is PITA to paint and not recommended to beginners. I have never ever spray painted before, only rattle can painted. :ogre: Im not doing concours restoration on my zee so it does not have to be uber bling.

I have resonator and Dynomax 2.5" muffler, sounds mean and not too loud. Muffler is diagonal (cant fit it otherwise)

Have you always bleeded the cooling system after changing parts? I had spooky overheating too, caused by air bubbles in the system.

I had both rubber "dampers" worn of from the struts, they caused a lot of unpleasant voices.

One of the "myths" of 240z's is that there supposedly were some cars made with factory sunroof. Which we ALL know to be untrue. Well... there is one persistent guy here (who might read this) who keeps telling that his 1971 has factory installed sunroof, and even published that info in national car magazine that made a story of his restoration (that z is awesome by the way!). You can imagine what kinda feeling that caused in me. I politely let him know (in our "local" z forum) that there is not a single z left from the factory with a hole in the roof. This guy starts to go mad and yelled me for destroying his reputation etc etc. In the end, admin deleted our conversation from the forum cause he boo-hooed to him. I think he was über offended about the fact that his car was not unique but the opposite. If he had ever read this forum, he would know
